Team Associated RC18T2 RTR 4WD truck

Team Associated their new RC18T2, a 1:18 scale RTR electric 4WD off-road truck. The RC18T2 comes loaded with awesome new features including the XP3-SS 3-channel 2.4GHz radio system, a newly designed chassis with a fully enclosed, 2-belt drive train system with adjustable slipper clutch that is capable of handling the extreme amount of power that today’s brushless motors and LiPo batteries can dish out. Along with durability, the drive train is sealed to help keep rocks and dirt away from all the gears and pulleys.

JConcepts RC8B Punisher prototype shell

JConcepts have dropped us a mail to show off their latest body for the RC8B. They have fitted an exclusive new design that incorporates the Punisher treatment along with extended side-pods for increased control surfaces and function. Along with the initial photos, they have also included a video showing the new shell in testing and we can expect to have more photos and release information soon.

Pro-Line D8 & RC8 Bulldog shells

Team drivers Ryan Cavalieri, Travis Amezcua and Ty Tessmann put their heads together with the Pro-Line development team with a mission to apply the radical cab-forward BullDog body design to a buggy. All three drivers used the body to achieve impressive results, winning the 1:8 Pro Buggy Class at the Silver State Nitro Challenge the first time the body hit the track. Featuring an advanced forward cab design, it generates unmatched off-power steering, while the exposed cylinder head stabilizes engine temps and the flattened rear deck feeds the wing with clean air flow. Made from durable / genuine .040 Lexan, the shell is currently available for the Hot Bodies D8 and Associated RC8.

Associated RC8 half-degree toe bushings

New from Team Associated for the RC8, are these half-degree toe bushings. Made from CNC machined plastic, they allow you to adjust your RC8B or RC8T CE rear toe-in to 2.5° or 3.5° per side. Using the indicator arrow on the back of each bushing, if the arrow points to the center of the car it is 2.5 degrees toe or when the arrow points to the outside of car, it 3.5 degrees toe. Sold in a set of 4, the hinge pin hole is 0.5 mm offset from the 1-dot bushing and can be used anywhere on the car for more fine adjustments.

Associated SC10 Factory Team kit

After winning the ROAR Short Course Nationals, Team Associated’s engineers got to work on taking the SC10 to the next level. Improvements were made to enhance performance and durability, as well as applying the full Factory Team treatment. The result is the SC10 Factory Team Kit, a 1:10 scale electric 2WD off road short course competition race truck kit. This special version is loaded full of high performance features including JConcepts Subcultures rear tires, Factory Team V2 threaded shocks, V2 slipper clutch, ball differential with lightened outdrives, and an optimized setup to make the best handling SC10 to date.

Associated B4.1 body & wing

Team Associated have made available the B4.1 body and wing in a clear unpainted version. This new shell features Interceptor 2.0 styling along with unique side scoops that give plenty of room for electronics and can be opened up for cooling vents in hot weather. Suitable for the B4 and B4.1 RTR, it comes supplied with 6.5″ high downforce wing, window mask and B4.1 decal sheet.

Associated Vertigo Apparel

Team Associated have revamped their apparel line for 2010 with the new Vertigo design. The new line incorporates a new grey hoodie, as well as 3 new tees in white, blue and black with all sporting the new design across the front, with the hoodie also having RC10.com on the back. Available in all the usual sizes.

Associated Rockstar SC10 2.4GHz RTR truck

Team Associated’s new Rockstar SC10 2.4GHz RTR truck is modeled after Curt, Kyle and Todd LeDuc’s short course race trucks as raced in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. Based on the 7-time ROAR National Champion RC10T4 and equipped with the company’s new XP3-SS 2.4 GHz 3-channel radio system, the SC10 comes ready-to-run with a factory-detailed ’09 Championship short course race truck body, KMC-style wheels and aggressive tread multi-terrain tires, all designed to look just like the full-size race trucks that run in short course off road series around the country.
