UREE 1/10th buggy drive shaft boots

Japanese company UREE has introduced a pair of drive shaft boots for 1/10th off-road vehicles. Made from very tough yet flexible silicone material the boots are designed to protect the outdrive and driveshaft pin area from the influence of dust, dirt and moisture while keeping grease in at the same time. The result is a longer parts life especially in extreme environments and the boots fit the Team Associated B6, B6D, B64 and B64D, Yokomo YZ-2CA, DT and DTM, Xray XB2 and XB4, Kyosho Lazer and Ultima as well as other kits.

Exotek XT6 T5M/B6 truck conversion kit

Coming from Exotek is the XT6 1/10th 2WD stadium truck conversion kit for the Team Associated T5M and B6 kits. The kit is an essential laydown type chassis conversion and it features a specially designed 7075 alloy +6mm chassis that will help update the ageing T5M to the laydown type platform that is needed for today’s high grip tracks. The design allows the use of the newest B6 components such as the gearbox, battery layout, rear bulkheads, front bulkheads and steering, which then uses the T5M suspension components and body. The conversion includes heavy duty USA made 5mm carbon fibre front and rear shock towers that matches the stock T5M geometry and also included are front and rear T5M body mount adapters along with a detailed instruction sheet. Required for the conversion are a donor T5M and B6 kit or new parts including bulkheads, steering, gearbox and suspension.

MIP Pucks B6 series 17.5 Drive System 67mm

MIP have introduced the Pucks 17.5 Drive System 67mm for the Team Associated B6 series of buggies. It features an aluminium based drivetrain system which includes a 2-piece aluminium outdrive cup and aluminium outdrive hub, two Bi-metal bones, and the replaceable plastic orange wear Pucks that take the place of the inferior steel pins. This combination greatly increases the longevity of the drive train and most importantly decreases the drivetrain’s overall rotating mass by 50 percent. The decrease in weight directly results in quicker acceleration, deceleration, and lower motor temperatures. The set includes all needed parts including the ball differential but except the diff gear and wheel axles. The kit is available for pre-order now and will be produced if 125 pre-orders are received until November 8th.

RCSS B64 LCG Relocation shock towers & upper deck

Coming from RC Speed Secrets and made for the Team Associated B64 and B64D are the carbon fibre LCG Relocation shock towers and a carbon fibre front upper deck. Starting with the shock towers, RCSS relocated the holes to align the camber link above the hinge pin and added some extra LCG tuning hole options in the same position. The result is a car that tracks better while promoting sweeping turns versus more choppy turning. The towers also offer more tuning options for higher traction surfaces like carpet, turf, and high bite clay. Although in testing showed that it is best to run both front and rear LCG towers, Team Associated’s Spencer Rivkin just used the rear tower to take a 2nd overall at the recent International Offroad Carpet Championship.

Rusti Design B6 series rear shock tower spacer

French brand Rusti Design has released a new shock tower spacer for the Team Associated B6 series of 2WD buggies. The 3-D-printed part allows to mount the rear shock tower in a more rearward position, such as found of the AE B5M buggy. The updated shock tower and rear wing position will improve the buggy’s balance and traction on lower grip surfaces, which was proved by Antoine Rosetti’s 3rd place at last weekend’s French Cup, and the conversion requires four M3x40mm button or socket head as well as two M3x25mm button head screws for completion. The spacer is usable on both the B6 and B6D buggy.
