Azarashi Roadseal touring car prototype

Azarashi Roadseal touring car prototype

Japanese company Azarashi, known for their optional buggy bodyshells and 4WD buggy conversion kits, are about to enter the on-road market with another conversion. Teasing with a somewhat blurry photo it appears like the designers combined their Team Associated B44.1 Grayseal conversion with short length touring car wishbones and a front bumper to create the Roadseal, a 1/10th 4WD touring car with rear motor, backward mounted speed controller and a rear located battery compartment for 2S shorty LiPo battery packs. Azarashi do not go into detail about test results or a rough release schedule but we bring you more information and images as soon as they become available.

Azarashi Redseal ZX-5 conversion kit

Azarashi Redseal ZX-5 conversion kit

Following the Grayseal conversion kit for the Team Associated B44 buggy Azarashi now also have a respective kit for Kyosho’s ZX-5 SP2 buggy available. The set is developed around a new upper and lower carbon fibre chassis that makes use of a 2S shorty-type LiPo battery pack over the conventional 2S saddle packs for a lighter and better handling buggy. The longer 293mm wheelbase helps to calm down the vehicle without scrubbing corner speed or agility. The motor and speed controller are now located on the right side of the chassis opposite of the battery pack. Lighter components such as the steering servo and the receiver found a new home in the front of the buggy. Include in the set are the upper and lower chassis parts made from carbon fibre, a carbon battery strap, new servo mounts, longer centre driveshafts and hardware.

New for the Durango DEX410 from Team Azarashi is this new body shell called the Fettera. Still in the prototype phase, this shell is the result of extensive track testing which has resulted in its unique aerodynamic performance. Very stable, the creative design of the new undertray helps with this, while extra space around the electronics and cooling holes help keep their operating temperature low. Expect a March release date.

Team Azarashi Fantas buggy front wing

Team Azarashi Fantas buggy front wing

Team Azarashi have released their Fantas buggy front wing. Designed for use with various 2WD buggies such as the AE B4 and Kyosho Ultima RB5, it allows the steering feel to be adjusted by changing the cutting line of the unique nose part and the gurney flap. For sharp steering at corner entry, cut out the bottom half of the nose, while for high speed stability, leave the bottom half of the nose. Expected to be finalised by the beginning of September.
