The easy bolt-on set for the use with the standard 22 5.0 LiPo cups bypasses the O-rings by way of easy to use carbon LiPo tabs and post spacers. Simply twist the tabs for quick battery access. The set includes carbon fibre LiPo tabs and alloy mounting posts for the use with standard shorty packs.
RC Carbon Cavalieri have announced the release of their carbon fibre front scoops for many of today’s 1/8th scale off-road buggies. Made from high-quality carbon fibre the scoops help to adjust the aerodynamic balance during high speeds and jumping with the parts offering increased stability over standard polycarbonate front wings. The scoops are available from now on for many Agama, HB Racing, HoBao, Mugen, Serpent, SWorkz, Team Associated and TLR kits.
Coming from Exotek and made for the Losi Rock Rey are a HD front shock tower set and a HD carbon fibre top plate. Starting with the front shock tower set, the kit is a replacement for the stock plastic tower and machined from billet 7075 alloy and 5mm thick genuine carbon fibre to ensure the durability needed for heavy duty off-road excursions. It is a direct bolt-on design with great looks for any customised race machine.
VSR Products have announced the release of their new 3-D-printed battery protector for the TLR 8ight-XE 1/8th scale electric buggy kit. The guard covers the centre diff gear and prevents it from rubbing on the battery during heavy impacts – all while helping stop rocks and debris from getting jammed in the gear mesh. The stock screws are used to mount the guard onto the top of the centre diff top plate, however the guards is only usable with the diff gear located towards the back of the chassis. The guard is 3-D-printed with carbon fibre reinforced plastic, providing exceptional strength and longevity.

VSR Products have announced the release of a diff shim set for the TLR 8ight-X and XE kits. The set comes with a 1mm and 2mm shim along with four M4 screws to replace the stock ones. Raising the rear diff is extremely beneficial when running on smoother tracks with medium to high grip with lower ride heights; allowing for faster lap times to come easier in such tricky conditions. It can also be useful on tracks with tight corners. To get the most out of this setup, VSR recommend raising the inner camber link 1 to 2mm, along with shortening the rear shock length by .75mm or more.
Coming soon from TLR is a carbon fibre centre diff top plate for the 8ight-XE 1/8th electric buggy kit. The precision-machined carbon fibre plate is a direct replacement for the kit’s composite plastic part and while adding a bit of bling, the plate offers added rigidity which can be beneficial when running high-power motors or on bumpy or very high-bite tracks. The plate is a direct fit and it is decorated with a machined TLR logo.

Coming from Avid and made for the TLR 22 series of kits is a titanium king pin screw set. It allows to remove some weight from the kit steel king pin screws and add some nice looks to the vehicle. The screws are machined from billet 6Al-4V titanium, they are 50 percent lighter than the stock parts and for the 22 5.0/4.0/3.0, 22-4 2.0/1.0, 22T 4.0/3.0, and 22SCT 3.0.

T-Works have announced the release of a rear stainless steel rear chassis skid plate set for the TLR 8ight and 8ight-X buggies. The skid plate simply attaches to the lower side of the chassis and helps to protect the main plate from becoming overly damaged when running low ride height setting, on abrasive surfaces or on tracks with huge jumps. The plate features laser-etched T-Works logos and the set includes two of them.
