Phat Bodies from the UK have introduced their new K2 micro truggy body shell. The extended version of the ever popular Kaboom truggy body was developed for 225mm wheelbase trucks such as the LC Racing EMB-1 chassis and the Losi Mini 8ight-T. The lid was designed to be fitted with hook and loop tape, it is made of high-quality Lexan polycarbonate and it comes including a high downforce 165mm micro specific rear wing.
TLR have announced the soon release of their new off-road cars stand and a 7 inch long dual cleaning brush. The stand is roughly 100mm wide, 177mm long and 8mm tall. The removable shock rebuild stand allows to use both the car stand and shock stand simultaneously and the tool is usable with a 2WD buggy all the way up to an 1/8th scale buggy. Also new is a 7 inch long cleaning brush with a soft bristle on one end and a hard bristle on the other end. Both products will hit stores from mid-August.
RC Cars Cavalieri from Germany have introduced their new carbon fibre wing flaps for the TLR 8ight 4.0 buggy. The items are machined from high-quality carbon fibre and they are made to both reinforce the kit’s composite wing mounts while also slightly improving aerodynamics by helping to better guide the airflow underneath the wing. The parts are a direct fit and attach to the wing stay using longer hardware.
Exotek have introduced their new stainless steel skid plate for the Losi Baja and Rock Rey vehicles. The heavy duty stainless steel construction with a brushed finish and chamfered front edge ensures long-lasting performance as it reinforces the chassis to help prevent the costly snapped or bent chassis for more driving and less wrenching.

Coming from VSR Products and made for the TLR 22 series of 2WD buggies is a 1mm front pivot shim. The part allows to get the latest SLRC super low roll center setup straight from the TLR factory team without having to glue washers and axle shims. The 1mm shim is simply added to the stock 2mm front pivot shim to get 3mm of spacing. The super low roll center makes the car more forgiving especially in high grip conditions while also greatly reducing traction rolling.
Coming from ProStar R/C and made for TLR’s 22-4 series of 1/10th scale 4WD buggies is a Kevlar shock tower kit. Made to replace the standard composite shock towers the set includes a rear glass-reinforced nylon bulkhead as well as 4mm Kevlar front and rear shock towers. Using the items will lower the overall weight and centre of gravity while making for improved stability. The towers are available in several colours including custom tones and they fit both the 22-4 and 22-4 2.0.

Made for the TLR 22 4.0 buggies raced in 17.5T stock classes is Exotek’s new titanium hinge pin set. The precision-machined lightweight titanium hinge pins weigh in at only 11g which is almost half the weight of the stock pins, scrubbing a good amount of unsprung mass while reducing the buggy’s overall weight. The set includes hinge pins for the front and rear inner and outer arm locations and it is recommended for 17.5T spec buggies only.
Avid have announced the immediate release of their new carbon fibre electronics tray for the TLR 22 4.0 2WD buggy. The item is machined from 1.0mm carbon material and allows to remove the electronics easily and conveniently for cleaning or maintaining purposes. The tray including hardware weighs in at only 4.4g and it comes including two flathead screws and two black alloy nuts.
