Schelle diff ball & thrust set plus chassis protectors

Schelle Racing Innovations have a bunch of new products available in the form of 3/32″ diff ball and ceramic thrust sets as well as Schelle-branded UpGrade RC chassis protectors. Starting with the 3/32″ ball and thrust combo, the set is made to upgrade the diff in Team Associated and TLR buggies or trucks. The tungsten carbide high precision balls are ultra-precise, to the smooth feeling diff like a ceramic diff ball, but with the perfect hardness and ease of setting that comes with a tungsten carbide diff ball. The included ceramic caged thrust bearing gives the diff maximum smoothness and it is easy to build. The 6 caged ceramic balls run on a hardened, grooved ring which is perfect for the massive clamping force inside the thrust assembly. The set is available with 14 balls for the B5 and 2WD 22 series and as 12 ball set for the B44.2, B4.2, T4.2, the respective Centro conversions, the SC10.2 and the 22-4.

TLR 22-4 LRC 2.0 degree & 2.5 degree rear blocks

Available now from TLR and made for the 22-4 4WD buggy are two new rear pivot blocks. Coming in low roll centre specification and with 2.5 and 2.0 degree toe-in setting the blocks are made to free-up the rear end of the buggy compared to the standard 3.0 degree part. CNC-machined from aluminium and coming gun metal anodised the 2.5 degree part is best used on medium bite surfaces while the 2.0 degree part helps to make the buggy rotate better in and out of turns on very high-bite tracks. Exotek Mini 8ight carbon fibre & aluminium options

Exotek have announced a range of carbon fibre and aluminium option parts for Losi’s Mini 8ight range of vehicles. First up are 3mm carbon fibre shock towers for the Truggy variant. Stronger and lighter than the original parts the front tower also allow for a more upright shock position for improved jump handling.

Vision Racing TLR 22 micro tuning front shock tower

Vision Racing introduce this 5mm carbon fibre shock tower for the 22 2.0 or 22. It incorporates micro tune shock positioning by adding two in between holes to the three stock positions. The smaller centre section also allows more undisturbed air to the body while the tower is very light of weight too, being 1.8 grams lighter then the stock tower.

Making use of the proven XXX platform the latest incarnation of Losi’s popular 2WD short course truck comes factory assembled and including a 3300kv brushless motor, a 2S LiPo compatible 45A speed controller, a powerful digital steering servo and a Spektrum DX2E radio system with AVC stabilising system. Included is also a 2A wall charger, a 20C 3000mAh LiPo battery pack and batteries for the transmitter.

Imbue 12mm brass shock pistons

Hot on the heels of the 1/8th scale brass shock pistons Imbue announce the release of 12mm 1/10th variants. The pistons are meant to improve bump handling, they make for plusher landings and smoother vehicle response. Initially available in 3×1.35mm hole configuration, the hole selection works well on both outdoor and indoor tracks, with tapered holes on one side to allow tuning for faster rebound or dampening. Included are standard and tight fit sealing bands for a perfect fit and to eliminate blow-by and friction. The pistons fit TLR, Associated, and Kyosho vehicles as well as and other brands that utilise a 3mm mounting shaft.

JConcepts TLR 22 & 22-4 Fin titanium turnbuckle sets

JConcepts introduction the Fin turnbuckle sets for the Team Losi Racing 22 2.0 and 22-4 buggies. The base of the shafts’ design is centred around a .143″ titanium hex size which gradually tapers down into a 3.5mm thread base design which accepts the TLR HD ball-cups. The focus of the styling surrounds the lengthened adjustment hex area and the “finned” cuts that rotate about the centre. The turnbuckles are produced with left and right hand threads with the left being conveniently marked for easy orientation.

TLR 22-series 35g brass MM hinge pin brace

Available soon from Team Losi Racing is a +35g brass hinge pin brace for mid motor converted 22-series vehicles such as the 22 2.0, 22T and 22SCT. The parts is machined from heavy brass material to add weight in the motor area for improved traction on low to medium bite surfaces, without having to fear the pendulum effect weights placed behind the rear axle can show. Laser-etched writings make identification easy.
