Team Orion Asia is formed

Team Orion have announced that they have just opened new offices in Thailand under the name Team Orion Asia Company Ltd. With the formation of this new company, they have strengthened their position in this fast growing market. With the background of the successful strategies of their companies in Europe, Japan and the USA, Team Orion Asia will be able to perfectly serve the demands of the Asian market. The best knowledge of the respective local needs and mentality are essential to thrive in Asia and with Porapong “Jarb” Ratanarat they not only found a huge RC car enthusiast but also a very talented man with great marketing and language skills. Team Orion confirms Yuichi Kanai

Following on from last weeks teaser image from Team Orion, and the subsequent guesses that you guys put in, the Swiss company has announced that Japanese star driver Yuichi Kanai is their newest team member. The Kyosho Inferno MP9 designer is already using the Alpha engines in his car, and this with great success having just won his first race using the new equipment. The former World Champion Yuichi Kanai will not only use all the Team Orion engines and accessories, but will also be part of the R&D process to developing new products. With the addition of Yuichi Kanai, a total of 9 World Champions are actively racing, testing and using Team Orion nitro and electric products to ensure their customers get the best quality and performance available.

Team Orion sign another World Champion

Team Orion have released this teaser in which they claim to have signed another World Champion to their team. “Team Orion is very proud to have six World Champions under contract today which is unique in the RC industry. Who’s next? Today we can only tell you that he is a RC super star. His name will be revealed very soon. The addition of this driver to our World Champion dream team is part of a global expansion of Team Orion. We will inform you about all the details in the near future”. We know who it is, but we will of course be interested to hear what everyone thinks.

Team Orion Battery Safe

Team Orion have released the Battery Safe, a charging bag for placing LiPos and other types of cells into, to increase safety during the charge and discharge process, by greatly decreasing the risk of fire damage and injury. Available in two different sizes, medium and large, the Battery Safe comes in black and sports a large Team Orion logo on the face and ensures maximum protection.

Team Orion official WC Fuel supplier

Team Orion have announced that they have been chosen to be the official fuel supplier of the 2009 IFMAR World Championships in Lostallo, held this year from August 13 to 23. The ABI Black Demon formula fuel will be used to deliver the best power for the best drivers. Exclusively at this race, the fuel bottles will feature a unique label made for the Worlds.

Team Orion 2656 tuned pipe

Team Orion have released their the new 2656 tuned pipe for .12 engines. It has been developed to increase power and mileage and its silver polished material and design makes it a strong and reliable racing part for Alpha and CRF engines. EFRA legal, it is supplied with manifold, rubber seals and mounting springs.

Team Orion team up with the King

Team Orion have announced that Cody King has joined their factory team. Cody has been a long running force to be reckoned with in the world of off road and can be generally found in the A-main at any race he chooses. Cody will be running Team Orion Alpha engines and Marathon receiver packs, as well as the company’s award winning LiPos and Vortex brushless motors in his various Kyosho buggies and trucks.
