Coming from Techra and made for the Yokomo YZ-2 buggy are aluminium front bulkheads mounts with removable brass weights. The mounts are machined from black anodised 7075 aluminium and they special design allows to add 9g brass weights, something that can be beneficial in bumpy or slippery track conditions. In addition to adding weight the option part also takes away a bit of chassis flex, helping with steering precision and emphasis on high-bite surfaces.

Coming from Techra and made for the Xray T4 series of touring cars is a battery mount system. Utilising machined, L-shaped 7075-T6 aluminium brackets the mounts are designed to minimise chassis tweak while giving the option of using the supplied hook and loop strap or optional fibre-reinforced tape to hold down the battery pack. The brackets sport a 2-tone black and orange finish and included in the set is also suitable mounting hardware.

The kit will include two CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminium split mounts and also one aluminium and one brass 1-piece connection bride that couples and reinforces the assembly, making it in fact as rigid as a 1-piece mount. The system allows to adapt the chassis twist to various track conditions and thanks to including a lightweight 3.1g alloy and a heavy 9.8g brass bridge, users can also fine-tune the car’s weight distribution. The split mounts were designed to accept the original suspension inserts and the set also includes four red anodised 1mm aluminium shims.

The system helps to both reduce torsional flex while also adding weight which can be beneficial in certain track conditions. The aluminium parts are cut from high-quality 7075 material and they come black and orange anodised while the brass bride is made from polished material. The set is best used in the front of the car and it is available now.
