Designed for the Pro4 Short Course class it can be used with any 1:10th scale 4wd Short Course chassis. The longer can and rotor provide more torque and lower temperatures keeping you ahead of the competition. Engineered for power and efficiency, Redline SC4X motors offer a superior and reliable platform for your 4wd Short Course needs. Available in 4.5 and 5.5 turns it is compatible with any sensored/sensorless ESC and features CNC machined aluminium heatsink can, ABEC 5 oversized bearings and a neodymium sintered magnet.

Compatible with Tekins Redline sensored motor line up, these rotors maximize power applied to the ground. The HT rotors are available in 12.5mm, 13mm and 14mm to meet all your needs. Tekin also provides a Rotor mod series to fine tune any of your 10th scale motor tweaking needs. Available in 12.3mm ROAR legal, 12.5mm ROAR legal, 13mm and 14mm sizes.

Tekin Redline T8 motor series

Tekin have released their Redline T8 motor series, designed for large scale, high performance competition. Featuring sensors for flawless, reliable on track operation, the T8 provides pro level control and power and is also capable of sensorless operation. The motor features a CNC machined 6061 T6 Billet aluminium ribbed heat sink and a neodymium sintered magnet and is available in a number of different versions, which can be seen below.

Tekin RX8 1/8th scale brushless ESC

Tekin have announced the release of this new 1/8th scale brushless ESC called the RX8. Based off of the proven RS series Speed Control the RX8 takes large scale current demands in stride. An industry front runner not only in power handling ability but also size and features with Drag Brake, Neutral width, Throttle Profiles, Voltage Cut Offs for LiPos and much more. The RX8 sits at only 1.5″ x 2.22″ x 1.46″, a small foot print making it easy to install on any chassis.

Tekin appoint Randy Pike Team manager

Tekin appoint Randy Pike Team manager

Tekin have announced the appointment of new team manager, Randy Pike. Randy has years of experience in RC and brings a host of skills to the team. As well being an active member in the RC community Randy has been a behind the scenes participant with Tekin from the beginning. He races Off Road and On Road Touring Car and has extensive industry knowledge that will assist in keeping Tekin a premiere RC electronics company. Randy had the following to say:

I’m truly excited to be given this opportunity. As some of you know I’ve been around since Jim and Sherri went “all in” and purchased Tekin. I’m a long time racer and have been lucky enough to share time and be friends with great racers like Matt Francis, Lloyd Dassonville and Phillip Atondo. I know how hard it is to compete at that level and look forward to supporting you guys as best as I can. I look forward to working closely with you as a whole and individually. Together we are going to continue Tekin’s championship winning ways.
