Tekno aluminium rear hubs

Tekno aluminium rear hubs

Tekno RC ave introduced a set of aluminium rear hubs for their line of 1/8th scale off-road vehicles. The machined hubs will add stability and strength to the vehicle and they come gun metal anodised for wear. Compatible with all EB48, NB48, ET48, and NT48 vehicles the hubs use 8x16x5mm bearings on the outside and 13x19x4mm bearings on the inside for use with CV axles. They can also utilise 8x16x5mm bearings all around for use with Tekno’s upcoming universal driveshafts. Set screws are provided to keep the hinge pin from moving inside the hub to reduce wear.

Tekno EB48.3 1/8th electric buggy kit

Tekno RC have introduced the EB48.3 1/8th electric buggy kit. Based off of the successful EB48.2 the new variant features a completely redesigned the suspension geometry with the new design aimed to improve big jump landings while at the same time improve small bump handling and consistency. Longer shocks have been fitted to increase suspension travel and new towers were designed to optimise shock angles. Pro-Line NT48 Enforcer bodyshell

Pro-Line NT48 Enforcer bodyshell

Tailor-made for Tekno RC’s NT48 1/8th scale nitro truggy is Pro-Line’ latest Enforcer-seried bodyshell. From the mind of Ty Tessmann and inspired from the success of the Type-R buggy body, the Enforcer has a meaner and more angular front end look with swooping roof and bed sections for improved airflow and high-speed stability. The hood of the body is steeper to create more downforce over the front wheels for more steering and faster lap times. On top of that the body is meant to be more durable than the kit body, allowing you to hit the track harder. As usual the body comes made from high-quality clear Lexan material and including window masks and decal sheets.

Based on the SCT410.3 1/10th scale short course truck the buggy is a lightweight alternative to the somewhat heavy standard 1/8th buggies and ideal for tight and twisty indoor tracks. The buggy shares around 95 percent of parts with the SCT410.3 with all of the new improvements and features put into the truck are all present in the buggy, along with a couple others specifically for the 1/8th kit. Lightened differentials, a lightened driveline, and lightened aluminium parts are standard and used throughout. 16mm bore, aluminium threaded body, long travel shocks are standard and the updated SCT410.3 suspension geometry is standard as are a split centre diff mount and the lightened chassis. The buggy is designed for the use with Pro4 motors, brushless speed controllers and 2S LiPo battery packs to make for a much lower weight compared to its heavy 4S siblings and thus improved acceleration, corner speed and jump handling.
