Tekno RC SCT410 & EB48 shock towers and hexes

Tekno RC have produced new carbon fiber shock towers for their SCT410 and EB48. At 4mm thick for the rear and 5mm thick for the front these shock towers will withstand the hardest of hits and are a direct fit removing 18 grams total weight from the SCT410 and almost 34 total grams on the EB48. With this decreased weight, the center of gravity will be lowered keeping your car even more planted on the track hugging those fast corners better than before. Tekno RC also now offers a stock zero-offset aluminium hex for the SCT410. These wheel hexes will fit all 12mm SC wheels and with a 6mm bore, they will fit all M6 driveshaft kits. CNC machined from high quality aluminum then hard anodized for wear, these hexes will withstand the test of time.

Tekno 17mm hub adapters & shock O-rings

Tekno RC announce 17mm hub adapters for the SCT410 trucks as well as a 16-piece O-ring set for Tekno and Hot Bodies big bore shocks. Starting with the hub adapters, the conversion kit is designed to allow the use of 17mm hex 1/8th buggy wheels on the truck for racing it in outlaw classes or to create an ultra-lightweight 1/8th buggy. Included in the set come hardened steel stub axles, lightweight 17mm wheel hubs, serrated wheel nuts and all needed hardware. Also new is a 16-piece shock O-ring set for Tekno RC big bore and Hot Bodies D8 shocks. The set includes enough seals to rebuild 8 shocks so you always have enough spares in your spares box.

Tekno RC EB48 Xtra Tough suspension arms

New from Tekno RC for the EB48 are these Xtra Tough suspension arms. These new arms are a direct fit on the Tekno RC EB48 buggy and use a new blend of materials they are nearly indestructible which make them great for cold weather racing and colder climates. The all new design also features a modified outer shock mounting location and by using the outer shock mount location will no longer sacrifice down travel so you can tune your car more precisely.

Tekno RC SCT410 option parts

Tekno RC introduce new option parts for the SCT410 short course truck. Available are different spring sets, an aluminium centre driveshaft, lightened motor mount, as well as lightened diff couplers and differential outdrives. Starting with the springs, they are made from corrosion resistant steel, come in black colour and are colour coded for easy identification. Available are three different 65mm front and three 80mm rear springs. Next up is an aluminium centre driveshaft made from 7075 material and coming gun metal anodised. With only half the weight of the stock shaft the part makes for less rotating mass and therefore quicker spool-up and acceleration. Also new are lightened diff couplers that weight 5g less compared to the stock part. They are made from hardened steel and designed to withstand the rigours of modified short course brushless motors. Other new drivetrain parts are the lightened differential outdrives. They save 12g, are made from hardened steel for ultimate durability and are sold as pair. Last but not least comes the new lightened motor mount insert. Made from lightweight aluminium and coming gunmetal anodised the insert will save another 5g and will fill out the gunmetal look of the truck.

Tekno RC SCT410 4×4 SC truck

Tekno RC have announced the newest addition to their stable of RC vehicles, the SCT410 1/10th 4×4 Short Course Truck. The SCT410 shares many parts with the EB48 1/8th Electric Buggy, so you know it will be able to carve up the track and take a beating. There are many new parts on the SCT to keep weight to a minimum, including new narrower arms, lighter steering blocks, spindle carriers, rear hubs and an all new lightweight drivetrain. Add some sturdy adjustable body mounts and a front/rear bumper system and you have the SCT that everyone has been waiting for. true 1/8th scale roots with 1/10th scale weight and agility. Standard 12mm hex wheels will bolt right on (SCTE offset) and existing 7.4v SCT power systems will have no trouble pushing the SCT410 around the track. The SCT410 will be sold in race kit form and should be available in January 2013.

Tekno EB48 option parts

Tekno RC announce the release of several option parts for the EB48 1/8th electric buggy kit. Available are a revised steering Ackermann plate, lightweight aluminium steering posts, a lightweight hardened steel 44T spur gear, a mechanic brake kit as well as complete front and rear shock kits and lightweight 17mm wheel hexes. Also available are various pivot and anti-roll bar balls as well as spindle and arm bushings made from aluminium to further reduce the weight of strategically parts. Last but not least come carbon fibre steering and brake servo braces to add stability.

Tekno RC Big Bone driveshaft for Slash 4×4

The Tekno RC Big Bone driveshaft and outdrives for the Slash 4×4 and Stampede 4×4 solves the many issues associated with the stock center driveline. First off it’s fat yet it’s still extremely lightweight. It’s a dog bone rather than a simple splined shaft and as such will not bind, split, or bend the way the stock shaft does. The laser etched shaft is machined from high quality aluminium and anodized for incredible wear. Newly designed hardened steel outdrives on either end replace the weaker stock parts for the ultimate center driveline available for the Slash 4×4 and Stampede 4×4 vehicles.

Tekno RC Losi Ten-SCTE option parts

Tekno RC have released new option parts for the Losi Ten-SCTE short course truck. The M6 driveshafts and lightened outdrives feature the ‘big ball’ design with a larger diameter outdrive ball whose design provides smoother suspension action and prevents the axle from hitting the outdrives on full compression. Included in the set are new outdrives to accept the redesigned driveshafts and also new stub axles to allow for more steering angle. All parts are super lightweight yet rigid thanks to their hardened surface.
