Modelix introduce ceramic bearing .21 engines

Spanish company Modelix have introduced their new range of Ultimate .21 off-road engines with high-quality ceramic bearings. First up is the M-4R, the company’s most powerful engine, with linear power at both low and high RPM. The second new engine is the M-5, a linear engine with excellent bottom end power, making it ideal for 1/8th buggies and truggies alike. Last but not least comes the M-8 long-stroke engine with good power in both the low and high RPM range. All three utilise the new Super Speed Series ceramic ball races that make for a lower engine weight while offering improved corrosion and wear resistance along reduced friction and vibration.

Ultimate M-4R Tuned 3.5cc off-road engine

Modelix Racing introduce the new M-4R Tuned nitro off-road engine which was developed by the Modelix research & development team with the input of international top level drivers such as Yannick Aigoin, Miguel Matias and Robert Batlle. Produced by Novarossi the 4-port engine features a tuned crankshaft and it is meant to be the most powerful and speedy off-road engine so far in the Ultimate range of engines, offering exceptional power through the whole powerband.

Ultimate EFRA 2123 Super Strong exhaust set

Modelix introduce the new Ultimate EFRA 2123 Ultra Strong off-road exhaust set. The high-quality aluminium pipe has been developed for competition racing and to provide precise low-RPM throttle control, smooth and linear power and high top speeds while offering a good mileage at the same time. The hard-chrome pipe comes with a suitable manifold and it fits all current 1/8th off-road engines.

Ultimate M-5 & M-8 get updated

Modelix Racing have announced some small updates to their range of Ultimate engines. To build on the M-5 and M-8’s well established base, both engines now feature an all new black coloured head which has been slightly modified to increase the amount of air flow going through the glow plug area and keep the temperature of the plug cooler. Both the M-5 and M-8 engines also now come with the new Novarossi patented dual rubber sealed bearings installed. These new additions help the engines to run more stable and give drivers/ mechanics an easier tuning engine. Finally, Ultimate M-5 and M-8 tuned engines are also available in combos at very competitive prices.

Ultimate Electro LiPo battery packs

Modelix Racing introduces the Ultimate Electro range of LiPo battery packs. Available in several configurations including a 2S 6500mAh 60C standard size battery, a 6000mAh 60C saddle and a 4600mAh 60C shorty pack there are also a lightweight 4200mAh 45C battery and two 14.8V 5200mAh/60C and 3300mAh/25C packs available. The range is rounded out by two 11.1V batteries made from 2200mAh 60C or 35C cells. The 2S and 4S packs feature protective hardcases while the 3S batteries are made using shrink-wrapped semi-hardcases.

Ultimate Racing metric tool line

Modelix Racing introduce a new line of Ultimate Racing tools that feature an ultra lightweight and durable aluminium handle. The non-slip surface allows for comfortable use during long wrenching sessions and the handles come with the Ultimate logo engraved while a blank space lets you customise the wrenched with your name. A red anodized cap is fitted to the end to help with tool handling and the tool type and size is engraved to the cap for easy identification. The hardened steel tips are precision designed to provide an exceptional fit and the tools are available in a range of sizes and designs including hex and ball hex wrenches, flat and Phillips screw drivers as well as two nut drivers.

Ultima Racing 2 & 3-drawer carrying bags

Modelix have two new Ultimate Racing branded carrying bags available. They are made from hard-wearing materials, feature strong zippers and are available in two variants with 2 or 3 drawers to take your RC gear such as the transmitter, charger, accessories and spare parts. Sturdy handles help with handling even with fully loaded bags. As for the dimensions both the 2 and 3-drawers variant measure 65x35x38cm with only the drawer height being different with 17.5cm for the dual drawer and 11.5cm for the triple drawer bag.

Ultimate M814 .21 off road engine

Ultimate Engines have introduced their new M814 .21 off road engine which is based on the successful M8 engine with a few improvements. The cooling head has been redesigned to remove weight for lowering the centre of gravity, as well as to increase the surface of the cooling area. Furthermore, this CNC machined cooling head has been modified to make adjusting the idle easier. In addition the mounting points of the crankcase have also been modified to avoid rubbing the rear centre shaft. Ultimate also have their new EFRA 2119 off road Super Strong Tuned Pipe set w/ Manifold that has been developed to provide a good balance of top end, and low end power with good run time. Available as combos, which include the engine, complete pipe set, clutch, clutch bell, air filter and foam, they also now supply the engines and pipe alone without combo.
