New from Vigor RC is this carbon tweak rod for the Yokomo BD8. Featuring a special cutout for BD8’s offset spur gear, the rod helps to easily and conveniently remove any chassis tweak even when using large diameter spur gears on the low profile chassis of the BD8.
Coming from Vigor RC and made for Xray’s XB2 ’16 and ’17 are a carbon fibre chassis and a battery brace. Starting with the chassis, the part is machined from high-quality 2.5mm carbon fibre and it is designed to replace the standard aluminium chassis. The lightweight material saves about 30 percent of weight with the carbon fibre chassis weighing in at about 86g. It fits the carpet and dirt edition kits, allows the use of several battery positions and it includes a protective chassis skin and mounting hardware.
Vigor have introduced new fine-tune bulkhead spacers for the Yokomo BD7-2016 car as well as high-grip steering wheel pads. Staring with the spacer set, already introduced in 1.0mm and 1.5mm specification the new 0.5mm and 0.8mm set allows for finer steps of bulkhead and motor mount raising. Using the spacers improves chassis flex and roll, meaning greater traction depending on the track conditions. As for the high-grip steering wheel pads, the rings are made of a special soft plastic that is available in eight colours and that is very easy to clean despite the bright colours.
Coming from Vigor and made for the Yokomo BD7-2016 touring car is a carbon fibre bulkhead spacer set. The plates allow to raise the front and rear bulkheads as well as the motor mount to give slightly improved flex which can be beneficial in certain track conditions. The set includes four 1.0mm and 1.5mm lower bulkhead spacers as well as two 1.0mm and four 1.5mm lower motor mount spacers, all made from high-quality carbon fibre.
Vigor RC have released these two tweak plates for the Yokomo BD7 and Xray T4 touring cars. Made from 5mm thick high quality acrylic, they have been designed to have the same chassis plate outline as the car its for. Works as any normal tweak plate does, it comes with a carry case to protect it while being transported or stored.
Vigor RC have introduced a set of 44mm rear dual joint driveshafts for the Yokomo BD7 touring car. Made from high-quality spring steel and featuring 1.8mm diameter cross pins the driveshafts are meant to offer a significantly higher durability while the included thin 3mm bearings make the driveshaft longer for smoother cornering at higher speeds. The rear shafts can also be used in the front of the car for fine-tuning purposes.
Vigor RC have introduced a new fan protector and heat sink for the fans of electronic speed controllers. CNC-machined from 7075 aluminium and coming black anodised and with machined silver details the add-on protectors are meant to increase the airflow pressure while adding cooling surface, which can lead to an eight to ten percent lower ESC temperature. The protector is available for 25mm and 30mm fans.
Vigor RC have introduced a carbon fibre tweak rod designed especially for the Yokomo BD7-2016 car. The rod features two milled-out openings to make way for the spur gear and to allow for access of top deck screw in front of the motor mount. The rod helps to easily and conveniently remove any chassis tweak even when using large diameter spur gears on the low profile chassis of the BD7-2016.
