Viper VST Black Edition 540-size brushless motors

New from Viper R/C Solutions come the VST Black Edition sensored brushless motors. Available in a wide range of turns from 3.5T to 21.5T, the Black Edition motors offer a completely redesigned all-aluminium structure for 10 percent lighter weight and 15 to 20 percent more RPM and thus higher overall performance compared to the last generation VST motors. The design of the ROAR approved and IFMAR compliant motors incorporates a vented 6061-T6 alloy motor can, with a wide range of tuning rotors being available to fine-tune the performance.

Viper R/C Solutions DryFluid Extreme

Viper R/C Solutions have announced a new innovative high end lubricant system called DryFluid Extreme. Specially developed for multiple applications, DryFluid Extreme is a dry lubricant rather than a classic grease so is not oily and is silicone free. The long lasting lubrication effect is achieved using dry particles and sliding polymers and can be used on bearings, linkage, gears, axles and drive shafts for superior lubrication and dirt repellant.

Lee Martin signs 3 year extension with Viper R/C

Lee Martin has signed a new 3-year contract extension with Viper R/C. After a strong finish to 2013, which saw the British driver take the runner-up spot at the World Championships in the USA, Viper RC and Lee Martin are now aiming to go one step further at the next IFMAR World Championships. The newly signed Yokomo driver will work closely on new product testing and development as well as new UK market distribution.

Viper R/C signs Marc Fischer

Viper R/C have announced the addition of German electric onroad ace Marc Fischer to their fast growing racing team. Marc’s proven talent will help team Viper to maximize the product performance in all major events in 2014 including DHI Race, Snowbirds, TITC, EOS, ETS and IFMAR Worlds. Marc will also be heavily involved in the new product development and European distribution support in 2014.

Travis Amezcua renews with Viper

Viper R/C Solutions that Travis Amezcua has renewed its contract with Viper for the next two years. Travis had a strong 2013, capped off with an A Main performance in the 4WD class at the IFMAR Electric Off-Road World Championships. Travis’ Team Durango vehicles will feature Viper VTX speed controls and VST motors in his 2014 and 2015 champing that will see his appearance at events like the Reedy Race of Champions, Cactus Classic, ROAR Nationals and more.

Team Viper sings Le-Hua Lin

Viper R/C announce the latest addition to their team in the form of Chinese pro level driver Le-Hua Lin who recently secured a podium spot in the 4WD buggy class at the 2013 FEMCA championships. This is what Le-Hua has to say about the deal:

I am very proud to be part of Team Viper in the coming 2014 season. I will do my best to race in every event, and to support more Viper customers in local market. In the 2013 FEMCA race in Taiwan, I had my first hands-on experience with Viper products. I was extremely surprised and satisfied with the performance of VTX10R ESC as it was able to run 4WD buggy without a cooling fan. The first impression of driving VTX10R was its powerful output, and yet still so smooth in corners. It provides much more performance that allows me to attack the track aggressively. The throttle control gave me perfect balance to clear all technical jumps. The lap times dropped by a full second compared to my old ESC. I appreciate very much for this opportunity from Viper R/C.

Viper VF8 4-pole 1/8th brushless motor

Viper announce the release of the VF8 1/8 scale 4-pole electric brushless motor. It features a CNC-machined 6061 T6 billet aluminium heatsink can, aluminium end bells and an epoxy-balanced rotor while heavy-duty solder tabs will take large diameter wires to maximise performance. The motor is still light of weight at around 317g, measures 69.4×41.8mm and is available in three KV ratings of 1900, 2100 and 2700.
