Xray T4’19 aluminium chassis series

Coming from Xray are three new aluminium chassis for the IFMAR World Championship winning T4’19 touring car. First up is the Worlds Edition extra-flex chassis that features the largest cut-outs, making for the most amount of flex which comes in handy on low to medium grip tracks. The chassis was used by Bruno Coelho to win the 2018 IFMAR World Championships. Next up is the flex chassis that also features herringbone-shaped cut outs, however these are smaller than on the extra-flex chassis for less overall twist and improved handling on medium to high-bite track conditions. Last but not least is the stiff aluminium chassis, a full-face affair for high to very high-bite track conditions. All chassis are made from high-quality 2.0mm 7075-T6 aluminium, they come black anodised for wear and looks and are designed to utilise the optional front chassis brace. The chassis make for an easier to drive car and more predictable handling in the respective track conditions and they are usable on carpet and asphalt tracks alike.

Xray XB4 graphite composite lower rear arms

Xray have introduced new graphite composite lower rear arms for the XB4 buggies. Moulded from a specially-formulated composite material the arms are the perfect choice for high-grip track conditions as they are less prone to flex compared to the standard composite wishbones. The result is increased stability and corner speed. The arms are available separately for the left and right hand site.

Xray X1 & X12 eccentric bearing clamps

Xray have introduced their eccentric ball bearings clamps for the X1 and X12 cars. The rear axle mounts allow to adjust the wheelbase for a short and a long setting, differing by 1mm. The black-coated alloy parts do not use composite hubs for the bearings and generally a shorter wheelbase car rotates faster in slow corners and has improved forward traction whereas a longer car is freer in high-speed corners and will feel more linear, especially during fast direction changes. The clamps fit the X1 and X12 cars and they come in pairs.

Xray X1 2019 1/10th formula car kit

Xray have announced the release of their X1 2019 1/10th formula car kit. The 2019 variant of the IFMAR World Cup winning car received some subtle updates to make the popular platform even more durable and also easier to work on. First up are new front lower suspension arms that were reshaped for improved durability, they are of a harder material for less flex and allow to adjust the front track width for a narrow or wide setting. The old-style arms are still usable and act as a tuning option for low-grip tracks for hard hand out tyres. To make maximum use of the new track width settings the 2019 kit also comes with two upper arm mount plates for tyres like Hudy and Volante. An updated aluminium servo mount rounds out the front suspension package as do new, softer C=2.0 front springs that are an all-round option for both carpet and asphalt tracks.

7075.it T4’19 brass weights

Coming from 7075.it are new Xray T4’19-specific brass option parts in the form of a battery holder and battery plate. Starting with the battery holder, the part attaches to the layshaft mount and it acts as a battery stop in order to prevent the LiPo pack from moving under various racing conditions. The item was redesigned to allow the use of countersunk hardware while the new appearance also sets it apart from counterfeit products. Also new is the brass battery plate that uses the mirrored motor pocket under the battery pack, ensuring a more equal weight distribution when running low weight packs. The plate is available for carbon fibre or aluminium chassis and like the battery holder it is of a new design to set it apart from other products on the market.
