7075.it T4 battery mount system & centre brass weights

Italian company 7075.it have introduced new option parts for the Xray T4 series of touring cars in the form of a battery mount system and two centre brass weights. Starting with the battery mounts, they utilise new brackets that incorporate slots for the mounting tape, doing away with the need to use the respective chassis slots which results in reduced chassis tweak and also a more secure battery mounting as there are less chances to damaging the tape during a run. The brackets are included as lightweight 9g aluminium and heavy 20g brass blocks which gives the possibility to adapt the weight bias and overall weight. The brackets can also be mixed for even greater influence on the weight distribution and to top things off they also use adjustable stops to shift the battery pack forth and back by about 3mm. The alloy parts come black anodised and laser-etched for wear and looks.

West Coast R/C Works X12 servo mounting plates

West Coast R/C Works have introduced their new servo mounting plates for the Xray X12’15 and newer. The plate is available in two versions, one is compatible with the Futaba S9650/S9670 and the other with Sanwa SRG-HR/HS servos. The servo mounting plates are designed as a direct replacement of the original part. The mounting holes of the servo will align the servo spline in the middle of the chassis. This will result in a faster servo positioning during the build and a more precise, and consistent setup. Furthermore, the servo will not move during a race and this will lead to a more consistent feeling and lower the risk of a DNF.

Xray X1’17 2mm carbon fibre chassis

Coming from Xray and made for the X1’17 formula kit is a 2mm carbon fibre chassis. The thinner main plate allows for improved chassis flex and thus more traction and side bite in low-grip conditions, improving the car’s overall performance on “green” asphalt and carpet tracks. The chassis incorporates new mounting positions for the pod links with a standard outer and an angled inner position, the latter will improve mid-corner steering. Furthermore the chassis sports a new, more forward centre mount plate position for running the new shock short absorber.
