Xray XB2 graphite A-arms

Xray have introduced new graphite lower A-arms for the XB2 2WD off-road buggy. They are made from an exclusive composite mixture to provide the perfect balance between durability and performance. The arms are best used in high to very-high traction conditions where they help to free the car up in corners and they are available separately as left and right rear arms as well as universal front arm suitable for both sides.

Xray X1 2.0mm aluminium flex chassis

Coming from Xray and made for the X1 formula car is the aluminium flex chassis. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and sporting flex cutout openings the chassis is recommended for the use on low to medium traction tracks as it increases traction and steering. The 2mm thick main chassis comes black anodised, laser-etched and it is best used with the optional 2mm alloy lower pod plate.

Mckune Design carbon fibre wing plates & buttons

Mckune Design have introduced their new carbon fibre wing plates and wing buttons. The wing plates feature chamfered edges and pocketing and are available for Team Associated, Yokomo, Xray, Schumacher, and PR Racing 1/10th scale buggies. The wing buttons feature a drilled and chamfered design and weigh in at just 0.7 grams for the pair. They are usable for off-road and on-road 1/10th scale vehicles and they are designed for the use with M3 flat head screws.

Xray XB4 medium hardness chassis braces

Xray have new medium compound composite chassis braces for the XB4 off-road buggy available. Softer than the standard kit braces the medium-hardness parts allow for improved chassis flex which is recommended for low to medium-bite tracks. The braces incorporate Multi-Flex screw mounting positions to further fine-tune the car’s behaviour and they are available separately for the front and the rear of the buggy.

Xray XB4 & XB2 ECS driveshafts

Xray XB4 & XB2 ECS drive shafts

Xray have introduced the ECS dual joint driveshafts for the XB4 and XB2 line of buggies. The dual joint design is a common sight in touring car racing as it helps to reduce wheel chatter at high steering angles. The same system now also makes for a more silent and efficient drivetrain in Xray’s 1/10th buggies. Available are 81mm front driveshafts for the XB4 4WD buggy to decrease vibrations, improve stability and increase corner speed while the 68mm rear driveshafts for the XB4 and XB2 up the rear traction and help with landing after jumps. Overall the buggies will also be easier to drive.

Xray XB4 2.0mm upper graphite chassis brace

Coming from Xray and made for the XB4 buggy is a 2.0mm upper graphite chassis brace. Cut from high-quality carbon fibre the part is designed to fit atop the composite chassis brace and it makes for less flex and thus more stability. When using the upper brace, the composite rear lower brace has to be removed.

Xray NT1 & XB4 low height internal diff gears

Xray have introduced a set of low height bevel and satellite gears for the NT1 and XB4 series of cars. The lightweight gears are made of a special graphite composite material that offers high durability, low wear and an ultra-low rotational mass. Using the parts improves the drivetrain efficiency and the gears are also usable with the T3 line touring cars.
