Designed for both the XB4 4WD and XB4 2WD buggy are these servo mounting brackets from Xray. They are machined from 7075 aluminium and come black anodised to replace the stock plastic mounts with stiffer and more reliable parts that also increase the steering response especially on high-bite surfaces. The servo are available in a set of two pieces.

The first two rounds of this year’s Galician Championships where a back-to-back affair with the first round taking place at the Boiro track. The weekend started on a smooth and slippery track but as the race progressed the surfaces got a lot bumpier. Cristian Villar took the TQ spot for the semifinals and he was also able to win his semi in front of Xray teammate Jorge Santin while Manuel Perez (Xray) took the second semi. In the final Cristian was able to build a comfortable gap allowing him to cruise to the win in round 1 of the championship. Jose Porto Andion finished second, Victor Remiseriro Moure completed the podium.

With the long awaited official introduction of the new Xray RX8 being only days away Red RC will bring a series of related features starting this Friday 28th with an exclusive Martin Hudy interview about Xray’s all-new 1/8th nitro on-road car. Early next week we will also have an exclusive ‘making of’ column with Martin going into detail about the design process of the RX8 accompanied with some exclusive photo’s of Xray’s latest 1/8th on-road contender. Xray have new linear springs for the XB4 line of 1/10th off-road buggies available. The new ‘hard’ 4-dot springs offer a C=0.80 rating for the front and C=0.50 rating for the rear, making them the firmest XB4 springs so far. Sold as pair each set is measured and matched to provide identical damping characteristics and they come laser-engraved for easy identification. The springs fit the XB4, XB4’14 and XB4 2WD buggy alike.

The 2nd round of the Portuguese 1/10th electric off-road nationals took place at the GodinTT race track with 18 entries in 2WD and 27 in the 4WD class. The track proofed to be very challenging with its high grip astroturf surface and loads of bumps. In the 2WD class Miguel Matias pretty much dominated the competition and he took quite an easy win as he did in round 1. Nuno Roque and Arnaldo Guedes completed the top 3 result.

RB have two new nitro airfilter foam sets for the RB One as well as the MBX7 and the XB8 available. The foam pieces offer improved airflow and a high degree of filtration to maximise performance and airflow. Included are 12 inner and 12 outer foams per set.

DE Racing release a few additional wheel offsets to their already extensive catalog of SpeedLine wheels. Offsets include front wheels for the new TLR 22-4, front wheels for the Kyosho Laser ZX-5, and front and rear wheels for the Team Durango DEX210 and DEX410. The Team Durango DEX410 wheels are also designed to work with the Xray XB4. This initial release will be in white and yellow with more colour options to follow.
