Xray NT1 3S linear spring sets

Xray NT1 3S linear spring sets

Xray introduce new linear spring sets for the NT1 nitro sedan kit. Called 3S the springs are specially designed for the low profile shocks with the rear ones being 4mm shorter than the previous springs, meaning fronts and rears now sport the same length. They come selected, matched and laser-marked for equal dampening characteristics and easy identification. Beside the standard C=3.5 and C=4.0 springs also harder 4.5, 5.0 and 5.5 variants are available.

Xray XB9 long progressive springs

Xray XB9 long progressive springs

New from Xray come long progressive springs for the rear end of the XB9 and XB808 buggy. They are designed to reduce chassis roll mid-corner by becoming stiffer when the suspension compresses. Available as soft-medium and medium variant the springs are individually measured, controlled, inspected, and matched to provide identical damping characteristics and come marked for easy identification.

Xray XB4 linear & progressive springs

Xray XB4 linear & progressive springs

Xray have announced new springs for the XB4 that have been specifically designed to complement the big bore shocks. Sold as a pair, the spring rate of the linear springs is constant during the entire spring compression, while the main advantage and benefit of progressive springs is that as the car initially enters the corner they work like soft springs to provide maximum traction. At the same time, when the chassis begins to roll, in the middle of the corner, the spring rate progressively increases until they work like a hard springs which allows the car to maintain maximum cornering speed. Like all the other Xray springs, these springs are manually measured, selected and matched into pairs to guarantee precisely equal length and damping characteristics. The front springs are available in Progressive (2 stripes) and linear (2 Dots & 3 Dots) while the rear springs are available in progressive (2 stripes) and linear (1, Dot, 2 Dots & 3 Dots).

P-S-R OT1 low-friction bearing sets

P-S-R OT1 low-friction bearing sets

Power-Save-Racing introduce their OT1 low-friction ball bearing sets for many of today’s 1/8th off-road buggies. Available for the 8ight 2.0/3.0, RC8, MBX6/7, MP9 TKI2/3, RB One R and XB9 the sets include RS and ZZ shielded bearings with the RS ball races are used in very exposed areas whereas the low friction ZZ shielded bearings are used in protected parts of the chassis. The result is a drivetrain with less friction compared to a car running all-rubber sealed bearings.

Diggity Designs DX12 transverse chassis kit

Diggity Designs DX12 transverse chassis kit

Diggity Designs introduce the DX12 transverse chassis conversion kit for the Xray X12 car. The set allows the racer to run the X12 in transverse battery configuration and locates the shock forward by .250″. The chassis also has a 3mm narrower front end. Designed for the use in 13.5T and 17.5T spec racing classes but the converted car will work in modified classes as well. Included are a new 2.5mm chassis, 2.5mm upper pod plate, 3mm tweak plate, O-ring and a long ball cup for the shock absorber.

Avid XB4 machined 2+2 shock pistons

Avid XB4 machined 2+2 shock pistons

Avid introduce these 2+2 hole shock pistons for the Xray XB4 buggy. They are machined for best possible precision and feature a 2+2 hole design to fine-tune high speed and low speed damping separately. Available are two variants with 1.5mm/1.1mm and 1.6mm/1.1mm holes. The pistons help provide the traction and bump handling of running lighter shock oil or larger piston holes, while still maintaining the control of running heavier oil or smaller hole piston when taking on jumps.
