Roche have introduced new heavy duty spool cups for the Xray T4/T3. The spool cups are made from Roche heavy duty spring steel material for more durability and are machined to reduce weight and rotating mass. Mounting directly to the original Xray front shaft the spool cups have been tested by factory driver Surikarn at this year’s TITC and he was very satisfied with the quality of the products.

Xray Italy with cooperation with Sprint RC and Team La Gang invites all Xray electric on-road racers to visit the Xray Challenge Italy. The race will take place on the weekend of the 7th of April in the city of Scandiano. The meeting sees the running of a touring car modified, 13.5T ‘blinky’ and 1/12th scale class on handout tires for the touring cars and your own tire choice for the pan car class. As a little extra the TC stock class winner will receive a free ticket of the Xray Challenge Grand Final at the Xray factory. Xray have introduced these all-new T4 rear anti-roll bars for narrowed front bulkheads in 0.1mm increments for super-fine tuning. For easy recognition the anti-roll bars have laser-engraved stripes for easy and instant recognition. The anti-roll bars are mounted using the included composite holders on the bulkheads, and to the integrated anti-roll bar mounts on the suspension arms. Available in 1.0, 1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6mm versions.

Xray announce that former European champion and recent Slovenian Champion Jernej Vuga has extended his contract with the Slovakian manufacturer for 2013. This is what Jernej has to say about the deal:
I am very excited to continue with Xray also for the 2013 season and I would like to thank them for giving me this opportunity. Xray’s knowledge is huge and this is very important for a driver as it is also the team work and development – Xray incorporates all of these factors. In 2012 my professional and personal time schedule did not allow me to participate at international races but I achieved some good results gaining the National and Alpe Adria Cup 2012 titles. For the 2013 season my goals are to race again at some main European races and to achieve the best possible results.

New for the XB9 Xray have produced these adjustable left & right M5 turnbuckles manufactured from special Hudy spring steel material, resulting in stronger turnbuckles with a tougher core. Additionally heat treated for maximum strength, reliability, and long life they come in a length of 70mm, and are suggested to be used for the optional aluminium c-hubs and uprights when the outer roll center positions are used and longer linkages are required. Sold in a set of 2.

Xray announce that 200mm Nitro World Champion Ralph Burch will stay with the Slovakian manufacturer trough 2013 and that the US super star will participate in all on-road classes this year. Additionally he will race electric off-road races with the new XB4. Ralph says:
I have been racing with Xray team since the very beginning since I have started to race the very first T1 more than 12 years ago. Over the years we have built a very effective team work & cooperation which has resulted into some of my best achievements in my racing career including the World Champion title. I am very proud to represent this finest company and I am very happy that our cooperation will continue and I hope some more great results will come either for me or for anyone at the Xray team. I have been available to any Xray drivers with any their questions or comments and I am looking forward to see you all during the 2013 at the races.

Xray announce the signing of top US off-road racer and World Championship A main finalist Taylor Petersen. He will race in all the off-road categories using Xray’s XB9, XT8, 808E and the new XB4. Taylor says:
I would like to thank Xray & RC America for the opportunity to better my racing career. I look forward to getting to the track and start racing with the team. It is the start of what i hope will be a great relationship together. I’m super excited about the new opportunities they have asked me to pursue with 1/10.
