Both the ETS organisers and the Xray company have agreed to create a mutual cooperation that will see the Slovakian company as a primary sponsor of the world’s biggest r/c touring car championship. This is a great news for all Xray drivers as the Xray factory team will be available at all six rounds of the ETS to provide full support and service. Xray guarantees that their service team will also be available at every race with a complete range of all spare parts and will provide technical and set-up help to all Xray drivers. Just look for the familiar Xray tent. To cap it all off, all Xray drivers at every race will receive a FREE promo package that includes Xray T-shirt, pit towel and stickers.

Xray X12 1/12th pan car

Xray X12 1/12th pan car

Xray have released the next evolution of the XII, the all-new Xray 1/12 pan car platform, the X12. Direct feedback from factory team drivers, as well as customers from around the world, allowed the Xray factory to turn a concept into reality… this is what we do best at Xray. New battery placement means better car balance and weight transfer and stiffer chassis material and more robust suspension material creates a car that is significantly easier to drive. By rethinking and then creating a completely new geometry where they elongate the wheelbase and widen the front track-width, they have created a car that works exceptionally well for beginners, highly-skilled drivers and everyone in between. And to make a car even easier to work on, they replaced the side shock with newly-designed side tube lateral dampers. Lowered rear bulkheads and an improved rear axle system allow the use of super-small tires while providing a super-low center of gravity.

Xray-T3-2012-Specs

Having written about Xray’s T3 2012 Spec touring car before we can now show your first pictures of the Slovakian company’s contender for the 2012 season. Based on the successful T3 platform and therefore fully compatible with the majority of spare and option parts, the 2012 Spec features an all-new graphite chassis and top-deck designed for increased overall traction and improved on-power steering. Also new are the front and rear upper bulkheads that now feature three camber link mounting positions and that allow for a quick change of the linkage length and roll centre positions using shims. Along with the new upper bulkheads go new shock towers for increased on-power steering and improved high-traction handling, new harder steering blocks to prevent tyre temperature issues in high-grip conditions, a 4-spring servo saver for increased steering accuracy, and a new leaf-free gear differential that is lighter and smoother compared to other differentials.
