Xray have released some simple pre cut shrink wrap for the central CVD on their 808 buggy. Place it over the collar and heat it for a neat way to help prevent the drive shaft pin from moving. The pack contains ten pieces.

Arrowmax release a complete set of shock shafts for the Xray RX8. These shafts have been coated with titanium nitride for reduced friction and wear for a better performing shock absorber. Sold in a set of 4.

Exotek Racing got in touch to show us their latest option part for the Xray T3’11 touring car. The centre link makes for an equalised steering geometry of left and right steering input when mounting the servo in the East/West configuration. The part is machined from 7075 aluminium and comes black anodised.

Spec-R release new option parts for Xray’s T3 2011 Spec chassis and Hot Bodies TCX touring car. Made for the T3 are 7075 upper bulkhead parts machined from 7075 aluminium. Coming black anodised the parts feature an additional bracket with three location holes for the upper camber links to move them away from their kit position on the shock towers. Designed for the Hot Bodies TCX are lightweight Delrin front spool outdrive adapters that feature large outdrive saver rings and that are a direct replacement for the stock parts.

DnM release the version 2.0 of their clutch system for 1/10 scale 200mm nitro chassis. The updated clutch offers a more linear power supply, smoother engagement and comes with a hard anodised flywheel and pressure plate for enhanced durability. Available for Xray NT1 and Kyosho R-series chassis such as the V-OneRRR and R4.

CSO release new option parts for the Xray RX8, Mugen MRX5 and general use. The front universal swing shafts for the RX8 are machined from high-grade spring steel, hard coated and allow the use of either wheel nuts of quick change systems to secure the tyres. Made for the RX8 and MRX5 are lightweight front oneway steel axles. Again the parts are hard coated to maximise durability. Also new are high temperature silicone engine gaskets for .12 and .21 engines. The durable purple-coloured parts make for a tight fitment of the manifold and pipe to avoid performance losses caused by insufficient sealing.

Arrowmax release front one-way outdrive axles for the Xray RX8 1/8 scale on-road chassis. Machined from high-quality spring steel and specially hardened, the axles are both lightweight and durable and a direct replacement for the stock parts.

Xray got in touch to tell us about their recent success at the 2011 US ROAR on-road nationals. Xray team driver Paul Lemieux was able to take TQ in the Modified class after four rounds of qualifying outperforming RC-Car legend Rick Hohwart and team mate Kevin Hebert. In the finals Paul made a clean sweep by winning both the first and second A main securing him the title and Xray the 33rd US national championship. Second place went to Rick Hohwart with EJ Evans completing the podium in third place.
