CSO Xray & Tamiya options

CSO Products have released some new parts for different cars in the Xray range as well as the Tamiya touring chassis. Firstly for the Xray T3 & T2, there is a pair of hard coated steel 52mm swing shafts. These are also available for the Tamiya TRF417 & 416 in 44mm versions. For the RX8 there is a pair of hard coated steel rear wheel axles, which have been lightened and come with wheel nuts for a secure and more true wheel mounting, but can also be used with the standard quick release levers. Finally for the RX8 are some lightened 6mm and 8mm aluminium collars for the middle and gearbox shafts.

Xray shock foam inserts

Xray have released these foam inserts for their 1/8th off road shocks that go between the shock upper mount and rubber membrane. The foam prevents membrane collapse and gives slightly more steering and more stability when landing from big jumps. Sold in a complete set of 4.

Arrowmax RX8 hollow middle shaft

Arrowmax have released this new front middle shaft for the Xray RX8. Machined from high quality spring steel, this hollow shaft claims to be lighter and more durable than the kit shaft.

Xray RX8 lightweight solid axle set

This rear solid axle set for the RX8 from Xray includes a lightweight axle shaft, pulley, and hardware. The axle body is manufactured from Hudy Spring Steel and has been strategically machined to make it 25% lighter than the standard rear solid axle shaft. It has been specially hand-ground for maximum precision and smooth operation and additionally heat treated and black coated to ensure long life and maximum performance. The 48T rear composite lightweight axle pulley comes supplied.

Capricorn RX8 clutch system

Capricorn RC have released their 1/8th clutch for the Xray RX8. Working with the original Xray pinions it comes complete with yellow clutch shoe and super hard clutch spring. Claiming to deliver more punch than the standard kit clutch it also gives great durability for long mains.

Xray RX8 brass engine mounts

Xray have released these new brass engine mounts for their RX8 1/8th scale chassis. Doing the same job as the original kit versions, they are also used as chassis weights and together both blocks have a total weight of 75 grams.

Xray NT1 aluminium rear driveshafts

New for the NT1 from Xray comes these super lightweight aluminium drive shafts that have been CNC-machined from premium Swiss 7075 T6 and hard coated for extra durability. Laser engraved for easy identification, the new design is up to 38% lighter than the standard steel drive shaft. Recommended for use in the rear only.
