Xray RX8 middle shaft holder & optional belts

Xray have released this aluminium front middle shaft holder for the RX8, which includes and lightweight aluminium collar – short, composite bushings and 6×13 high-speed ball-bearings. The lightened locating collar is made from tough 7076 T6 aluminium, while composite bushings secure ball-bearings in both sides of the hub carrier allowing perfect fitment and smooth operation to ultimately impart much higher lifetime compared to bearings installed directly into aluminium. The ultra-strong construction of the premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum front middle shaft holder provides very long life and durability. Xray have also released a complete line of high-performance kevlar reinforced optional belts for the RX8.

Xray XB808 5° aluminium steering blocks

Xray have released new aluminium steering blocks with 5° kingpin for the XB808. CNC-machined from premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, they are then hard coated for extra durability and long life. The new 5 degrees of inclination increases in-corner steering and is recommended for technical tracks where in corner steering is needed. These new steering blocks are 1mm narrower which also helps increase the steering. Using the standard wheel hexes the offset is -1mm compared to old steering blocks with standard wheel hexes. Ultra-strong construction provides very long life and durability in even the most extreme racing conditions. Includes composite bushings to secure ball-bearings in both sides of the steering block, allowing perfect fitment and smooth operation to ultimately impart much higher lifetime compared to bearings installed directly into aluminium steering blocks.

Xray RX8 aluminium front body posts

To compliment the new carbon front body post mount released this morning for the RX8, Xray have have produced these aluminium front body posts. CNC-machined from premium lightweight Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium they work with both the composite and optional graphite plate. Sold in a set of 2.

Xray RX8 graphite body post mounting plate

The new parts for the RX8 keep coming, with Xray releasing this graphite front body post mounting plate. Tough, strong and lightweight, it is made from thick CNC-machined top-grade graphite.

CSO RX8 aluminium clutch bell

More new items for the Xray RX8, again from CSO, who have produced this lightweight aluminium clutch bell. Made from hard coated 7075 T6 aluminium, it is lighter than the original kit version, weighing in at only 3.3 grams. This new clutch bell claims to be more efficient and offer improved acceleration.

Xray RX8 middle shaft locating collar

Similar to that released yesterday by Xray, for the RX8 chassis, there is now also this lightened middle shaft locating collar. Made from tough 7076 T6 aluminium, it replaces the composite collar used on the 2-speed shaft, reducing its rotating mass without sacrificing strength or durability.

CSO RX8 suspension arm holders

More new parts for the Xray RX8, this time from CSO Racing products who have released these new aluminium front upper suspension arm holders. Made from lightweight black anodised 7075 T6 aluminium adds extra strength to this vulnerable area of the car.
