Xray release lots of NT1 Optionals

Xray NT1 Optionals

Xray have updated their site with a large number of new optionals and tuning parts for their 200mm racer, the NT1. Far too many to write about individually, we have copied in some images of the main parts and we have put a link to the whole lot at the bottom of the page. New parts include a machined LCG chassis, lighter transmission parts, new CVDs and Multi diff, rear anti-roll bars, spur gears, pinion gears, new clutch parts and lots more.

Xray XT8 now Shipping

The guys at Xray have been in touch to let us know that the Xray XT8 kits are now shipping to all distributors. The kits should be available in shops within the next few weeks. The first batch is limited, so make sure to pre-order yours. If you have been looking for the XRAY XT8, please contact your local dealer or national distributor.

Peter Harder wins Rd3 of Danish TT Nats

Another report from Xray, this time from the 3rd round of the Danish Nationals held at a huge RC stadium just outside Copenhagen. The results from the semi finals saw Kyosho racer Thomas Mikkelsen take the top starting position ahead of Xray racer Peter Harder in 2nd, who when the race started made a bad start allowing Steffen Culmsee to come from behind to take the lead followed by Harder. After the pitstops Peter could regain the lead and, after an accident for Culmsee, could cruise home to the win ahead of Mikkelsen in 2nd with 3rd spot going to CEN racer Rune Gustavsen.

Harris Katikas wins Greek Nats Rd2

Harris Katikas wins Turkish Nats Rd2

Xray have a brief report on their site from the 2nd round of the Greek electric Nationals which was held last weekend on the Patras circuit. Harris Katikas, racing for Xray, completely dominated the World (open) class race by taking the TQ and the overall win ahead of team mates Nikolakopoulos and Agelakopoulos in 2nd and 3rd respectively. In the National class it was a win for Karabelas with 2nd going to Flabouris while Balasis took 3rd.

Hakansson wins Swedish Nitro Series

Another report from Xray, this time its from last weekends Swedish Nitro Series and Swedish Cup, both events run on the same weekend at the high-speed track in Ã–rebro. Once again rain played a role in the outcome of the event with a short downpour before the main SNS final causing drivers to change setups and adjust strategies. At the beginning of the final there was some initial chaos but after a couple of laps it settled down and Xray driver Niklas Hakansson pulled away to a clear victory with 4 laps in front of 2nd placed Serpent driver Christoffer Hallborg with another Xray of Brandt Mikael in 3rd.

Indonesian EP 1/10 Nationals Rd1

Xray are reporting on the 1st round of the Indonesian Electric Touring car Nationals that took place last weekend at the 1/8 scale super track in BSD city area. In qualifying Xray racer Yung Yung showed great racing skills by taking the TQ spot in rubber, while team mate Didi took TQ in foam and second spot on the grid in rubber.

Unfortunately the weather was not cooperative and it was raining lightly right before the mains. Racers and organizers decided to run the finals before the track became too wet. Right after the first leg of the A-final foam tire, the rain poured heavily and the organizer had to void the result for the final, and therefore the results from the qualifications counted.

Torkildsen takes Rd1 of Norwegian Champs

Another report from Xray, this time from the first round of the 1/8th TT Norwegian National Championships that were held last weekend. Xray driver Morten Thorkildsen won his semi final to take the number 1 spot for the final where he was able to pull away and stretch out a lead and despite running out of fuel 100 meters before the end, could take the win in front of Losi 8ight racer Viggo Andreassen in 2nd and Kyosho racer Rune Karlsen in 3rd.

Robert Pietsch wins German South Rd3

German South Rd3

Robert Pietsch continues to win in the South of Germany as the 3rd round of the regional championships took place last weekend in Rosenheim. Qualifying on Saturday and Sunday resulted in Robert Pietsch taking the TQ spot on his home track with Thomas GÃ¼nsel in 2nd and Sebastian Feller in 3rd, all 3 drivers racing the Xray NT1. At the start of the main final, Robert took off into the lead leaving GÃ¼nsel and Feller to battle it out for the 2nd step on the podium, eventually being decided when Feller had a coming together with another car, dropping him back, but still managed to recover to 3rd behind the winner Pietsch and 2nd placed GÃ¼nsel.
