From OfficinaRC for the Xray X4, these brass 6mm pivot balls are made in Italy with the best machinery and by expert craftsmen with many years of experience. The brass used, thanks to its characteristics, guarantees maximum sliding by minimising the friction of the pivot ball in the arm. The weight is very similar to that of the original versions.

Xray X12’22 1/12th scale pan car chassis

Xray have released full information on their updated X12’22 1/12th scale pan car. The updated chassis sports a fully adjustable battery mounting system that does not require an O-ring or tape. At the rear, an ultra-lightweight steel solid axle offers improved drivability and throttle control while the new lightweight wheel adaptors help reduce rotation mass. Up front the wider foam bumper provides better body shell support & improved crash protection and the updated front suspension sports adjustable steering lock limiters. Other updates include a new steel arm brace for increased arm strength and a new low profile lightweight bushings installed in graphite plates replacing the traditional nuts for a sleeker look and lower CG. The solid axle is now standard in the EU Edition with 1.0° kingpins included in the US Edition for improved drivability out of the box on high traction.

OfficinaRC X4 Billionaire kit

OfficinaRC have introduced this extensive and very premium titanium set for the Xray X4, aptly named the ‘Billionaire’ kit. As the name suggests this is a very pricey but premium kit and includes all of OfficinaRC’s machined titanium parts for the new Xray touring car chassis. The set consists of 2 x centre shim front screw, 2 x centre shim rear screw, 4 x upper deck screw, 4 x Turnbuckle M4 – 15mm, 4 x special spur gear screw, 8 x lower pivot ball 6.0mm, 4 x ball stud 6.0mm, 8 x upper arm ball, 3 x ball stud 4.9mm, 8 x ball stud 4.9mm, 1 x ball stud 4.9mm x 10mm and 2 x Ball Stud 4.2mm Titanium x 4mm. The set also includes 8 x Alloy Nickel Hard Coated 5.8mm shock balls and 4 x ball stud 4.9mm – sway bar from the same material.

Pelle Culmsee joins the Xray Racing Team

Xray have announced that Danish driver Pelle Culmsee is joining the Xray Racing Team to race the XB8 and XT8 platforms. The former SWorkz driver had the following to say ‘I am very grateful to be a part of the Xray Team. The cars and products have always been top quality and performed at a top level. I cant wait to hit the track with my new XRAY cars. I want to say big thank you to XRAY team and Claus Ryeskov for making this happened’.

T-Works X4 roll centre & gear adaptor spacers

From T-Works for the Xray X4 is this range of roll centre spacers and gear adaptor spacer. The roll centre spacers simply slide between the bulkheads and the chassis for quick adjustment. Available for both the front and rear of the car, they come in 1mm and 0.5mm variants. The gear adaptor spacer is 1mm thick and comes supplied with three low profile 3x5mm screws.

OfficinaRC X4 titanium upper arm & 6mm pivot balls

OfficinaRC have presented their new titanium 4.9mm upper arm balls and 6mm pivot balls for the new Xray X4. Machined from solid titanium and 100% made in Italy, they offer a 40% weight saving over the original parts and will give a unique and factory touch to your car. Thanks to the titanium it will significantly reduce the masses of weight at the highest point of the car, making it more robust, in a point exposed to shocks. Both items are direct replacements for the originals.
