Xray XB8, XT8 & GTX upper plate w/ two brace positions

Xray have produced this optional graphite upper plate for the XB8, XB8E, GTX, GTXE, XT8 and XT8E. Featuring two brace positions the plate is CNC-machined from high-grade carbon graphite, ensuring highest strength with lightest weight. Suitable for high traction surfaces the plate prevents driveshaft collision with chassis brace.

Xray X1’21 hard 2.5mm graphite chassis

For the X1’21, Xray have produced this 2.5mm chassis made from a harder graphite material for very-high traction conditions. Also suitable for when using tires that offer a lot of steering which makes the car more difficult to drive, this harder chassis makes the car more stable and easier to drive, and eliminates oversteer. The chassis was redesigned to accommodate the tweak-free pod system and side braces. The X1’21 chassis continues to offer a wheelbase adjustment using one of three mounting positions for the front suspension. Depending on the installation choice, wheelbase can be selected from the standard length or +/- 4mm alternatives.

Xray T4’21 brass chassis T-brace

From Xray is this new T4’21 brass chassis T-brace that makes the car more stable, generates more rear traction and allows chassis flex adjustments to alter steering characteristics by adding and removing screws from the brace. Adding 10g additional weight the T-brace can be connected to the motor mount to create an even stronger centre structure which makes the car more stable and easier to drive while pushing the pace even faster.

Xray XB4 & XT4 carbon fibre side guards

Made for the XB4 and XT4, Xray have released this pair of moulded carbon fibre side guards. Extremely light, they offer more than a 50% weight reduction compared to standard composite side guards while providing more rigidity. Stiffer in the longitudinal direction to improve stability they still allow for some chassis twist that can help generate traction. Moulded from high-quality carbon fibre, the side guards perfectly fit the chassis plate to seal against dirt and protect from side impacts. The set includes left and right side guards and is supplied with Velcro(r) double-sided tape is included to ensure a perfect seal of the body to the side guards.

Xray T4’21 thinner 1.6mm graphite top deck

For the T4’21, Xray have produced this thinner 1.6mm graphite top deck for use in low to medium traction conditions when combined with the aluminium chassis. The redesigned top deck works with the centre layshaft location in the middle of the chassis. Made from 1.6mm graphite material, the shape of the top deck has been specifically designed to achieve maximum traction and great steering characteristics at the same time.

From Xray and suitable for the XB8, XB8E, XT8, XT8E, GTX8 & GTX8E is this lightweight yet ultra-strong rear upright moulded from special hard composite material. Features larger outside 8x16x5mm ball-bearing for increased reliability and life-span and which makes the rear of car very stable. It also helps improve bump absorbing and handling in hotter conditions.

Xray X1’21 optional 1.2mm front anti-roll bar

Xray have released this optional 1.2mm front anti-roll bar for the X1’21. Made from special spring steel material, it is designed to work with the aluminium anti-roll bar holder system integrated with the front body and wing mount that lowers the overall CG. Features laser-engraved stripes for easy identification.

Xray X12’21 matched front coil springs

Xray have introduced two new options for matched front coil springs for the X12’21 with black and gold joining the kit standard silver. The new springs offer a softer and harder option to the silver and have been developed through extensive testing and racing experience. Stiffness is controlled by the thickness of the wire and also by the number of coils with the gold softer springs having a lower C value, while the black stiffer springs have a higher C value.
