SRC RX8 & NT1 dynamic battery plate & weights

SRC have introduced their new battery plate with integrated brass weights for Xray’s RX8 and NT1 nitro on-road kits. The super light cars still have a margin even under the new EFRA rules thanks to lightweight transmissions and materials. With SRC’s battery weight set additional weight is placed as low as possible while allowing to fine-tune the weight balance by shifting the weights forth and back. The plates are machined from high-quality aluminium and they can be loaded with up to five brass weights of 12g to 13.5g in weight.

RC-Cox T4 black aluminium spring retainers

RC-Cox have introduced their new black aluminium spring retainers for the Xray T4 touring cars. The collars are machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and they sport a black anodised surface for wear protection and a stealthy look, especially with the new, mostly black-toned T4’20. The alloy parts will improve spring seat and durability compared to standard composite spring retainers and they come in sets of four.

X-Factory UK Sensor Protektorz chassis decals

X-Factory UK have introduced their new Sensor Protektorz chassis decals for the Team Associated B6.1 or 6.2, the TLR 22 5.0 series, Schumacher Cougar Laydown, Xray XB2 2018 to 2020 and the Yokomo YZ2 DTM and CAL. The stickers protect the motor sensor lead from damage and they are printed on durable, self-adhesive high-grade vinyl. They sport brand co-ordinated logos and schemes for that factory look and help to conceal the sensor lead in many of today’s leading 2WD buggies down the routed channel along the spine of the chassis. Each decal is die-cut to follow the machined recess’s and specific shape of the chassis and thus makes for a neat and tidy professional looking electrics install.

Ruddog B74 & XB4 carbon fibre side guard sets

Made for the Team Associated B74 and Xray XB4 1/10th scale 4WD off-road buggies are the new Ruddog carbon fibre side guard sets. The side pods are moulded from high-quality carbon fibre for a low weight and high-quality surface finish, ensuring cool looks and improved car performance as the side guards weigh in at about 17g for the B74 version and 24g for the XB4 version, which is considerably less than the standard composite plastic side pods. Being made of tough carbon fibre the side guards retain the original flex characteristics of the chassis while offering slightly increased ground clearance during cornering. Included with the side guards comes suitable mounting hardware.

Xray NT1 2021 1/10th nitro on-road kit

Xray have introduced their new NT1 2021 1/10th scale nitro on-road kit. The next generation of the 2-time IFMAR World Championship winning platform is of an all-black design, doing away with the signature orange design of it predecessors, leaving only some shock parts and details in the company’s house colour. New for the 2021 version is also an updated 2-speed carrier that features a heatsink design for more consistent shifting while the new lightweight drive flange lowers the drivetrain’s rotational masses. Also in the drivetrain area a new brake disc adapter is about 25 percent lighter, again adding to an overall increased drivetrain performance. The kit will hit stores very soon.
