Xray 35g stainless steel slim battery weight

Xray have announced the release of their new 35g slim battery weight for the T4 touring car. Made of high-quality stainless steel the weight measures 135x33x1mm and it is ideal for adding weight when running the latest generation of slim and lightweight LiPo battery packs, allowing to centralize weight as much as possible. While coming in handy especially when running mid-motor cars, such as the T4 2020, the weight is also usable with all other cars utilizing slim battery packs.

Xray T4 2020 3.0mm SLP shock towers

Xray have introduced their new T4 2020 carbon fibre shock towers for the use with their SLP super low profile shock absorbers. The shock towers allow to use the longer SLP shocks on the T4’20, which can be an advantage especially in bumpy or lower grip track conditions where the shocks cam improve traction and side bite. The shock towers are machined from high-quality 3.0mm carbon fibre and they are available separately for the front and the rear.

Xray XB8 medium & hard 1g aluminium clutch shoes

Xray have introduced their new medium and hard aluminium clutch shoes for the 4-shoe clutch of the XB8, XT8 and GTX8 kits. The medium clutch shoe offers increased slippage and a late engagement at higher revs while the hard clutch shoes make for the latest clutch engagement available from Xray‘s range so far and thus highest bite RPM. Both weigh in at 1g per piece and they are available as separate 4-piece packs.

T-Works XB8 & D8 series POM suspension spacer sets

T-Works have introduced new POM suspension spacer sets for the Xray XB8 2020 as well as the HB Racing D8 series of buggies and GT cars. Starting with the XB8-related set, the kit includes two 3x9x7mm, two 3x9x2mm and four 3x9x1mm spacers all of which are machined of high-quality, self-lubricating POM material. Using the shims will allow to adjust the rear wheelbase setting by shifting the rear hub forth and back in its seat with the slick washer surface ensuring smooth suspension action. As for the HB Racing D8 series sets, available is a rear hub set consisting of 0.5mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm and 2.0mm shims as well as a set of steering block spacers. The shims are usable for the D819, D819RS, and D817 buggies as well as the RGT8 1/8th GT kit.

Radtec T4 series black aluminium bearing hubs

Radtec have introduced their Xray T4 series aluminium bearing hubs in black colour. Made from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and coming black anodised the alloy parts are designed to replace the standard composite parts and they can improve the efficiency of the drivetrain as well as lower the operation temperature of the gear differential as the metal parts allow for heat dissipation through the alloy bulkheads. The hubs come in 2-piece sets.

T-Works XB2 2020 ball bearings kits

The latest release of Xray XB2 2020 series optionals from T-Works includes two ball bearing sets. Specific to the Carpet and Dirt specification kits of Xray’s latest 2WD buggy, the sets include 14 and 16 ball races respectively, with both utilising orange and black colour rubber seals for exceptional protection against dust, dirt and moisture whole the inner metal shields ensure low natural drag for high drivetrain efficiency. Both sets are available from now on.

T-Works XB2’20 series Ti ball ends & screw sets

Coming from T-Works and made for Xray’s 2020 XB2C and XB2D buggies are new titanium ball end and UFO head screw sets. The sets are specific to each buggy and due to being made of lightweight yet durable 64 grade titanium alloy they help to reduce overall weight, add corrosion resistance and visual impact compared to the standard steel hardware.

Xray X1’20 aluminium flex & hard carbon fibre chassis

Xray have announced the release of new aluminium and carbon fibre chassis parts for their X1’20 formula car kit. First up is the 2.0mm aluminium flex chassis that was developed for the use on medium to high-bite carpet or high grip asphalt tracks. It features strategically placed milled-out sections to optimise the torsional flex while scrubbing a bit of weight. The narrow design eliminates contact with the track surface in corners while rolling, and offers improved cornering speed. The design also includes a slot for a composite battery backstop which allows 5mm battery position adjustment when using the most frequently used cross-chassis alignment configuration. Also incorporated are three wheelbase settings of standard, +4mm and -4mm.
