Vigor T4F’21 multi-use rear shock tower

Vigor have introduced their new multi-use rear carbon fibre shock tower for the Xray T4F’21. The design with two additional rear body mount locations allows to move the horizontal rear body mount position up and down to fine-tune body rake and ground clearance while also accepting vertical body mounts for those who favour this “old school” kind of attaching the body. The rear shock tower is machined from high-quality carbon fibre and it is understood to match the kit suspension geometry.

T-Works T4’20 anti-tweak block

T-Works have introduced their new anti-tweak block for the use with the Xray T4 2020 mid-motor touring car. The tool allows to straighten the bulkhead assemblies of the car, ensuring maximum precision and thus minimised chassis tweak and less stress on the spool and diff ball bearings. Using the block is pretty straight forward. During bulkhead assembly it will be sandwiched between the left and right bulkhead sides and the lower bulkhead screws are tightened down with the block ensuring the bulkhead sides are sitting perfectly parallel. The tool is also usable during car maintenance, making it ideal for quick checking between races. The block is machined from aluminium, it comes black anodised and it is usable for 16mm and 17mm bulkhead spacing.

Xray RX8’21 1/8th nitro on-road kit

Xray have announced the soon release of their new RX8’21 1/8th scale nitro on-road kit. The IC Track car features several updates compared to the previous version such as a new stealth black design including parts such as the bulkheads and shock absorbers, doing away with the company’s iconic orange anodising. Also part of the package are lightweight bulkheads for improved flex characteristics, while a new chassis layout moves the engine closer to the rear axle for improved traction and stability. In addition a redesigned radio plate allows the chassis to flex more, increasing steering and front end grip. Next up is a new ribbed 2-speed carrier for improved and more consistent shifting thanks to increased cooling capacity while a lightened brake disc adapter reduces rotational masses. The lighter and shorter rear solid axle further reduces rotating masses while expanding the rear width adjustment possibilities.

SRC RX8 & NT1 dynamic battery plate & weights

SRC have introduced their new battery plate with integrated brass weights for Xray’s RX8 and NT1 nitro on-road kits. The super light cars still have a margin even under the new EFRA rules thanks to lightweight transmissions and materials. With SRC’s battery weight set additional weight is placed as low as possible while allowing to fine-tune the weight balance by shifting the weights forth and back. The plates are machined from high-quality aluminium and they can be loaded with up to five brass weights of 12g to 13.5g in weight.
