Xray’s all-new T4 2020 electric touring car kit hit stores this week and since the 2020 variant of the IFMAR World Championship winning T4 platform is a whole new design, Xray have stitched together an informative video featuring IFMAR World Champions Bruno Coelho and Alexander Hagberg who dig deep to explain the car’s main features.

Following a series of teasers and insights on social media, Xray have finally introduced their all-new XB2 2020 2WD buggy kits. The popular buggy received a major make-over for the 2020 season with virtually no area being left untouched, be it the chassis, suspension or drivetrain. Two kits are available, the Carpet edition for high traction surfaces and the Dirt edition car for low grip conditions, with both sporting specific features in the drivetrain, suspension and weight balance area in order to maximise the cars’ performance in the given conditions. Both kits are already shipping and available from now on.
Aigoin Racing from France have introduced their new carbon fibre side guards for many of today’s 1/8th competition buggies. Moulded from high-quality carbon fibre the side guards are a direct replacement for the standard plastic or composite parts, offering greater rigidity, a low weight and overall improved looks. The side guards are available for the Xray XB8, Team Associated RC8 B3 and B3.1, Mugen MBX8 and MBX7, HB Racing D81x, TLR 8ight-X, and SWorkz S35-3 and S35e kits from now on and they include the required mounting hardware.

Japanese brand Zero Tribe, known for their popular Xray T4 front-wheel drive and mid motor conversion kits, have released a first image of their forthcoming new T4 FWD V2 kit. Building on the experienced gained with the original FWD conversion kit, a set that allowed to convert the Xray T4 4WD touring car into a front wheel scrubbing machine, the V2 variant will feature some subtile refinements and improvements, such as a floating battery mount, a new aluminium flex chassis plate, a redesigned front motor mount and more. Xray have released a making of video series featuring their soon-to-be-revealed all-new T4 2020 electric touring car kit. The 5-video series includes all of the important manufacturing steps of the new car including parts milling and cutting, carbon fibre machining, injection moulding as well as colour coating and packaging. Beside allowing a look behind the curtains of Xray’s impressive factory, with most of the kit’s parts being actually made in Slovakia, the clips also give some interesting insights in Xray’s forthcoming new T4 2020 kit that will feature a mid-motor layout, redesigned front and rear bulkheads, as well as longer lower arms to name just a few updates. The kit is set for a release in early November and all of the other clips can be found after the break.
Xray have announced the signing of multi-time Danish National Champion, Patrick Folman to their team. The former DHI Cup winner and ETS A-main finalist will campaign Xray’s T4 electric touring car platform at events such as the XRS, ETS, EFRA Euro and IFMAR World Championships and he has the following to day about the deal:

Coming from Bruno Coelho’s BR1 brand is the new BC-T4WC servo for Xray’s T4 series of touring cars. Following the success of the BC-1863X servo, and to celebrate its Touring Car World Championship title, BR1 have developed the BC-T4WC (0.07s/11.0kg-cm/56g), a servo which is a must have for Xray T4 users that are looking for maximum performance from their car. It features a new all-aluminium case, as well as a receiver wire that now comes out of the back of the servo, allowing for much neater wiring. The integrated mount also has a screw hole to install a battery backstop with the low centre of gravity mount, which was characteristic for the first version of the servo, being once again the most striking feature, as it also perfectly fits the soon to be released Xray T4 2020 car. In addition the servo has also been updated internally to ensure best possible performance for the user.
