Rebellion-RC T4 Aero suspension arm set

RC-Carbonstore have introduced their revolutionary Rebellion-RC Aero suspension arm set for the Xray T4 touring car. Developed in Austria and extensively tested at international events such as the recent ETS season finale at the Hudy Racing Arena, the front and rear arms make use of a radical, aerodynamic design that helps to keeping the car more planted, countering traction rolling in high-grip traction conditions and high speed corners while adding to the overall downforce. The arms are 3-D-printed from high-quality PA12 material, making them extremely durable and precise while the included carbon fibre arm stiffeners add extra rigidity, keeping the arms from flexing under load without adding too much unsprung weight. The arms also support a new low centre of gravity shock position, lowering the car’s overall centre of gravity by setting the shocks about 6mm lower compared to the original shock position. To access the new shock position, the set includes -6mm front and rear carbon fibre shock towers that utilise a revised shock geometry for a more linear shock action. The kit is rounded out by a set of front chassis flaps that are added in the steering area. A chassis drill jig comes includes with the conversion kit. The set uses the original Xray swaybar ball cups for an easy upgrade and it is available in a total of twelve different carbon fibre weave colours from now on.

Rebellion-RC T4 MM mid-motor chassis conversion kit

Following a couple of preview renderings RC-Carbonstore have finally fully unveiled their Rebellion-RC mid motor electric touring car conversion kits. The upgrade sets centre around the patent pending sliding motor mount design that allows gear mesh adjustment through the chassis bottom, with the narrow design of the whole assembly ensuring the overall motor and battery width remains the same as in the “rear motor” standard cars, creating a very centralised weight distribution and less unwanted chassis roll compared to current mid motor conversions. In addition the design makes for an ultra low centre of gravity while allowing integrated flex settings via up to seven motor mount screws. The sliding design also ensures a very wide gear mesh adjustment range, fitting up to 48T pinion and 114T main gears, making the conversion ideal for both stock and modified racing alike. The final specification of the kit now also incorporates three chassis stiffness adjustment areas that allow to brace the upper and lower deck in front of the rear bulkhead, in front of the centre shaft and behind the front bulkhead – allowing to access complex chassis flex settings.

7075.it T4F aluminium 30mm fan holder

7075.it have announced the release of an aluminium motor fan mount for the Xray T4F FWD touring car. The mount utilises two non-used mounting holes of the motor, ensuring easy, reliable and lightweight fixing of any 30mm fan. Machined from high-quality aluminium and coming black anodised and with laser-etched markings, the mount is also usable with other front-wheel touring cars that use low-CG motor mounts.

Xray XB8 series eccentric steel IAC bushings

Xray have introduced their new eccentric steel bushings foe the IAC Integrated Adjustable Caster C-hubs of the XB8 series kits. The bushings allow for ±2 degrees of caster adjustment depending on the orientation of the inserts. The bushings are of a keyed design to ensure secure and reliable mounting with the heavy steel construction adding unsprung weight if needed. The bushings come in sets of two and as 0 degree, 1 degree and 2 degrees variants and they are usable for XB8, XB8E, XT8, XT8E, GTX8 and GTXE kits utilising the front C-hub suspension.

Xtreme Racing T4 carbon flex battery hold down kit

Coming from Xtreme Racing and made for the Xray T4 touring car is the carbon fibre flex battery hold down kit. The set replaces the standard battery mounting system and does away with the need to use tape to hold down the battery pack in favour of a quick release system that only lightly tabs the battery pack, resulting in quicker battery swaps and less influence in chassis tweak. The set includes two battery hold downs, two LiPo battery supports and 6 shooter thumb fasteners along all needed mounting hardware.

Arrowmax T4 Medius mid-motor chassis conversion kit

Following a first teaser image Arrowmax have announced the release of their new Medius mid-motor chassis conversion kit for the Xray T4 touring car. Using the vehicle in mid-motor mode will increase steering, traction and cornering speed while also making the car easier to drive fast. The chassis conversion allows to mount the steering servo on the left or right hand side, depending on the chosen battery type with the kit being usable with standard, shorty or the new Petite mid-size LiPo battery packs. Included with the conversion, that is available as 2.25mm carbon fibre or 2.0mm alloy chassis variant, is a 2.0mm carbon fibre upper deck, a redesigned carbon fibre servo mount holder, a 7075 alloy single-piece motor mount, redesigned 7075 centre pulleys as well as a chassis stiffener that enables the owner to access different chassis flex settings. The kit, that is usable with 2019 down to 2017 specification T4 cars, is available from now on.

Bezerk T4’19 2017 height shock towers

Coming from Bezerk and made for the Xray T4’19 are new, taller shock towers that match the 2017 shock geometry. Made from 3.0mm glossy carbon fibre, these towers allow to mount longer shocks from the 2017 specification car to the 2019 model which can be beneficial in bumpier or very low grip track conditions. The geometry replicates the 2017 towers and the two are available as a set from now on.

Bezerk RC XB2 battery hook system

Bezerk RC are busy adding more carbon fibre optionals to their line-up with the latest being a battery hook system for the popular Xray XB2 buggy. Made from glossy 2.5mm carbon fiber, the hooks offer secure fore and aft adjustment of the LiPo shorty battery pack. Unlike slotted systems that can slide forward in a crash, these stay secure with a range of different positions including flipping them over to get the full range of adjustment. An O-ring holds the pack secure enough to keep it in place but also flexible enough to allow for the chassis to flex underneath. The O-ring hooks are centrally located to the battery hooks, so the O-ring is always centrally located to the battery pack.
