Xray have announced the soon release of their new GTXE 1/8th electric GT kit. No official details are available yet but it is understood that the vehicle will feature many of the updates the recent GTX8 nitro kit received for 2019 – sans the nitro-specific upgrade of course. Coming from RC-Carbonstore’s Rebellion-RC brand are new lower Xray X1 front arms in a variety of off-sets. The redesigned arms have the unused wide track width holes removed with an optimised shape ensuring higher stability. The arms are available in +0, +2, +3, +4, +5, +6, +8, and+10mm specification with the actual setting engraved for easy identification. As with all Rebellion-RC parts the arms feature chamfered 0.2 x 45 degrees edges on the lower side and they are available in twelve different carbon weave colours.
Xray have introduced the latest variant of their popular RX8 1/8th scale nitro on-road kit. The machine underwent some changes especially at the rear end, in order to improve overall traction. First up is a new, narrower main chassis plate that retains the front shape of the previous model but that became slimmer in the centre and rear section. The rear bulkheads are spaced 8.4mm closer to each other, while the rear arm mounts move the inner suspension pins 2.5mm closer to the centre line which, combined with the bulkhead placement, generates more rear traction and improves the stability of the car.
New from Schelle Racing Innovations comes their 1/8th eBuggy 10mm battery spacer and wall is a secure substitute to adjust weight bias for Team Associated, Mugen, and Xray E-Buggys. Sold as a front cell spacer, or a set with an added rear wall, racers can modify their battery box to centralise the weight of the heavy 4S battery on the chassis. The result of this setup is getting more grip exiting turns. Some modification to the existing battery compartment is required, instructions are included.
Coming from Xray and made for the X1 formula car kit is the independent rear wing mount set. The set allows to install the rear wing fully independently from the rear pod plate ensuring the wing stays in the same position as the chassis despite the rear power pod movement which helps to improve the car’s stability while increasing rear traction. The rear wing mount plate features holes for wing mounting in exactly the same positions as the standard wing mount, ensuring the aerodynamics remain the same when switching between the standard and independent mount. The set can be used either with the rear gear differential or ball differential and the wing mount has multiple positions which allow higher or lower mounting of the rear wing to adapt to traction, conditions, and racing surfaces.

Italian X-Grip distributors Mikimodel have introduced a new titanium screw kit for the Xray T4’19 touring car. Machined from high-quality grade T2 material the fasteners are highly durable and offer a very low weight. The all-titanium set includes all necessary screws to outfit the T4’19.

Willspeed have introduced their new RF2 chassis and gearbox conversion kit for the popular Xray XB2 2WD buggy. The conversion platform was designed and manufactured by engineers and racers alike to further up the performance of the car. The kit features an aircraft grade billet aluminium tub style chassis for a lightweight, low COG and strong platform with a single-piece no-tweak design. The chassis comes individually serial numbered with name engraving available. The ultra low profile aircraft grade aluminium 5-gear transmission housing ensures optimised weight distribution with lowered idlers, lowered layshaft and unique no tower “A” frame design, hugely lowering COG. Other aircraft grade billet aluminium parts include the motor mount with low COG design, and the rear shock tower with internal undercut keyway which interlocks with transmission housing for super solid tower mounting. Pocketed features key shock standoffs and turnbuckle locknuts for quick easy tuning. The ultra lightweight platform weighs in race ready with full size shorty LiPo, full size servo and Schumacher tires at approximately 1495g. Included with the conversion comes the Willspeed RF2 Falcon bodyshell.
