Redworks introduce new XB-series carbon optionals

Redworks from France have introduced new carbon fibre optionals for the Xray XB2 and XB4 off-road buggies. First up is the L4 rear shock tower for the XB2, a low-profile variant for the use with pre-2018 rear shocks of the XB2 or XB4. The updated geometry offers less droop and a lower centre of gravity which can be beneficial in certain track conditions. Next up and also made for the XB2 is a flex battery hold down that allows for a softer chassis flex setting while doing away with the need to use battery foam spacers thanks to multiple battery stop positions. Another flex battery strap come for the XB4 4WD buggy – the updated design results in a softer chassis flex setting for improved drivability in a variety of conditions. Last but not least comes a small carbon fibre electronics mounting plate that ensures quick and easy mounting and removing of the buggy’s electronics. All parts are machined from high-quality carbon fibre and they are available now.

Leadfinger XB2 A2 Tactic body shell

Available now from Leadfinger Racing is the Tactic A2 body shell for the Xray XB2 2WD buggy. Like the A2 Tactic bodies before it, the XB2 body has an added roof vent that allows for better cooling for today’s sensitive electronics. Running cooler has it’s advantages and feeding cool air directly over the power house is a welcomed upgrade. Behind that, LFR has designed a top fin that joins into a rear swoop for added stability and increased rear down force. The combination of the two help give the XB2 a balanced and precise feel during mid corner rotation and on power exit. The all-new optional nose scoop for the XB2 has been designed specifically for the ’18 and ’19 Xray models. The scoop is designed to enhance steering and jumping capabilities to the front of the car. LFR has designed the scoop to not only be an effective advantage, but also finish off the XB2 with a much cleaner over all aggressive look. The body sold in clear, ready for paint, and including two pre-cut Tactic wings as well as stickers and window masks.
