T-Works T4 & BD9 anti-tweak block

T-Works have introduced a new 18mm/19mm anti-tweak block for the Xray T4 and Yokomo BD9 touring cars. Machined from aluminium and coming red, black or orange anodised the blocks help to build tweak-free front and rear bulkhead assemblies. With the lower bulkhead screws not fully tightened the block are inserted between the left and right bulkhead and while pressing the bulkhead halves against the block the screws will be tightened to ensure a fully parallel assembly that both counters uneven chassis tweak while ensuring less stress for the spool and differential bearings.

7075.it LCG System touring car chassis & weight sets

Coming from 7075.it are four aluminium chassis and combo sets for touring cars such as the Awesomatix A800, Infinity IF14, Team Associated TC7.2 and Xray T4’19. All chassis are machined from high-quality 7075 aluminium and they feature a flex design for optimised torsional flex while pockets along the centre line allow the mounting of dedicated brass centre weights in order to fine-tune overall weight and weight bias. The low-profile weights protrude from the chassis by only 3mm, compared to the previous 6mm, ensuring a lower overall centre of gravity and thus faster cornering in high-grip track conditions. Weights available for now include 8g front weights, a 25g low-profile centre weight and a tall 50g centre variant. The keyed weights are mounted using a single screw and are easy to add and remove, with the A800 chassis also allowing to use the 8g front weights as additional centre variants. The chassis come black anodised for wear and looks and they are available separately or including a brass weight set.

Xray XT2C’19 carpet specification 2WD stadium truck kit

Following the introduction of the XT2D’19 1/10th scale 2WD stadium truck kit for outdoor and low-grip track conditions, Xray now also release a carpet specific variant for high grip carpet and astro turf tracks. Taking most of the XT2D’s design features the carpet specification kit only includes a front motor, laydown gearbox as it is the current standard for high-grip setups. Otherwise the 2019 kit mostly relies on the XT2D 2019’s features, such as a narrower gearbox design, updated rear suspension mounts, multi-functional rear uprights, 2.5mm pin driveshafts and new rear suspension arms that allow to mount the shocks in the front or the rear of the A-arm. Included in the kit comes an upgraded gear differential with new, hardened outdrives to accommodate the 2.5mm pin driveshafts while an updated hardening process ensure longer parts life. Also included in the kit are hard-composite steering blocks for improved handling in high-grip conditions, 4.5mm rear hex adapters, and a mix of greased and oiled ball bearings for improved durability and a free-spinning drivetrain.

Xray XT2D’19 2WD stadium truck kit

Xray have introduced the 2019 variant of their popular XT2D 1/10th scale 2WD stadium truck. To offer a maximum of versatility the kit includes all parts to run the truck in “high grip” front motor or “low grip” rear mid motor specification with the two differing in terms of gearbox, motor plate, camber link mount, rear shock tower, waterfall and battery retainer. New to the 2019 kit are narrower gearboxes for both layouts as is a new ultra-smooth ball differential for improved performance and longer intervals between rebuilds. The new multi-functional rear uprights generate increased traction and stability while the rear arms allow to mount the shock absorbers in the front or the rear of the arm – ensuring greater control over the weight bias for different track conditions. New rear aluminium suspension mounts are included to match with the updated gearboxes and the driveshafts now feature 2.5mm pins for increased durability and smoother operation. The included body allows to run the rear shocks in a front or rear placement without any changes to the body shell and also part of the 2019 specifications are hard front steering blocks, +1.5mm front and +4.5mm offset rear wheel hubs and new larger rear upright ball bearings. Standard with the 2019 kit, that will hit stores very soon, are also greased upright ball-bearings and oiled bearings throughout the transmission and steering.
