Yokomo YD-2 heatsink rear motor mount

Coming from Yokomo and made for the rear motor YD-2 series of RWD drift cars is a special heatsink aluminium motor mount. Machined from aluminium and featuring a heatsink design for improved heat dissipation, the motor mount also allows for seven motor height adjustments that enable the owner to adjust the car’s centre of gravity according to the driving style and track conditions. A new ultra low mounting position allows for an even wider range of settings. The motor mount comes black anodised for looks and with machined silver highlights.

Yokomo BD10 split rear inner brass suspension mounts

Coming from Yokomo are new split rear inner suspension mounts made of heavy brass material. Of the same shape as the standard NA alloy mounts, the brass items add 6g at both sides without sacrificing chassis space, helping to easily adjust chassis balance if conditions call for it. The mounts come black anodised and with machined edge details.

Yokomo YD-2 aluminium rod end adapters

Coming from Yokomo and made for their YD-2 series aluminium and composite upper and lower front A-arms are aluminium rod end adapters. Machined from high-grade aluminium and coming hard-anodised for surface protection, the adapters are direct replacements for the standard steel parts and they are made to reduce the weight of the front suspension which can lead to improved steering characteristics in certain track conditions. The adapters are available as 20mm and 23mm upper arm variants and as 27mm and 30mm lower arm parts, the latter being laser-etched with track width markings to make setup easier.

Yokomo BD9 +1mm front shock tower

Yokomo have announced the release of their new +1mm carbon fibre front shock tower for their BD9 touring car. Precision-cut from high-quality carbon fibre the shock stay features 1mm higher upper shock mounting positions, increasing suspension up travel and preventing the shocks from bottoming out. The result is better and more predictable car handling on bumpy tracks and during high-speed cornering. The shock tower is a direct fit.

Yokomo BD10 rear aluminium & steel stiffeners

Made for Yokomo’s BD10 mid-motor touring car are two rear chassis stiffeners. Available as lightweight aluminium or heavy steel variant, the cross-shaped stiffeners not only help to adjust the torsional stiffness of the rear chassis area in various ways, the the steel variant also adds a certain weight which can be beneficial in both low and high-grip track conditions, as it can increase traction while also countering traction rolling. The stiffeners are available separately and they are a direct fit.

Trion YZ-2 quick release battery mount

Trion have introduced their new quick release battery mount for the Yokomo YZ-2 series of buggies. The set includes machined 4mm carbon fibre battery locators that feature hooks to utilise O-rings to strap the battery into the chassis. Doing so allows for quicker battery changes without the need to use additional tools while also allowing the battery to float a bit within the mount which makes for more natural torsional flex of the chassis. Last but not least allow the O-rings to use batteries of different height without having to adjust and braces or other stationary battery locators. The battery mount must be used with the Yokomo Z2-002SPT side plates.

Zero Tribe introduce new T4 Mid & BD9 Mid chassis parts

Coming soon from Zero Tribe are new carbon fibre main chassis and upper decks for their Xray T4 Mid and Yokomo BD9 Mid mid motor conversions. Both the HT chassis and upper decks are of an updated design that provides increased straight line stability, making the cars easier to drive. The chassis are of a refinded shape for optimised flex and they feature machined sections around the middle bulkhead area, allowing to retain the upper M2 bulkhead screws for increased pitch stiffness while the cut-outs ensure optimised torsional flex for improved traction. As for the updated HT upper decks, these will become available in 2.2mm, 2.0mm and 1.65mm variants to fine-tune overall chassis flex.

Yokomo BD9 2.0mm flex upper deck

Coming from Yokomo and made for the BD9 touring car is a 2.0mm carbon fibre flex upper deck. Using the same graphite material as the standard top deck, the flex variant is of a different shape with a redesigned, increased torsional flex front section which results in a milder steering response which comes in handy to calm down steering in high-bite track conditions while increasing rear traction for lower grip tracks. The top deck is machined from high-quality carbon fibre and a direct fit, however Yokomo recommends to use alloy upper deck screws to maximise the top deck’s effects.
