Yokomo LC transmission case for YZ-2 series

Yokomo have announced the release of a new LC (Laydown/Carpet) transmission case for carpet, astro and high traction dirt surfaces made for their YZ-2 series of vehicles. The case is a 3-piece construction which allows for quick and easy diff access and uses the same style transmission cam adapter system as their current YZ-2T LD transmission case, which makes raising and lowering the diff a breeze. Giving you the lowest possible centre of gravity which improves the overall handling and performance of the vehicle on high traction surfaces.

Yokomo YD-2 shock spring series

Yokomo have introduced a new shock spring series for their YD-2 RWD drift car kits. Available as separate sets for the front and rear, the front springs are of a high pitch design for greater response, increasing front tracking and feeling throughout the corner. The rear spring are available in an increased forward traction or higher side bite variant to suit a wide range of track conditions and allowing for better tuning. All three sets come in all-round (carpet asphalt) or soft (P tile/concrete) hardness, making it six sets in total that are available separately or as complete 6-pair combo package. To not alter the characteristics and performance of the springs, they come without any surface treatment, meaning some discolouration can occur over time that is best countered by lightly oiling them using bearing or machine oil.

Hiro Seiko introduce new on-road lightweight screw sets

Hiro Seiko have announced the release of new lightweight screw sets for a range of on-road kits, such as the Awesomatix A800X Evo, Serpent F110 SF4, Xray T4F, and the Yokomo YRX12’19. Yokomo BD9 6-hole shock pistons

Yokomo have introduced new 6-hole shock pistons for the BD9 touring car. Using the same hole diameter as the standard 4-hole variants, the 6-hole parts offer improved absorption against fine vibrations while keeping good overall response for enhanced traction. Also the outer diameter is also slightly enlarged for less blow-by during fast compression and thus improved balance in fast corners. To achieve the same mount of damping, upping shock viscosity by 50 to 100cst is advised.
