EXO Design Works 91 12mm CVA set

To allow for wheel compatibility with modern buggies, EXO Design has released this dedicated 12mm CVA set specifically designed for the Yokomo Works 91.  It allows the buggy to use standard 12mm HEX wheels found on modern buggies.  This means if you run both vintage and modern RC buggies you’ll find this upgrade essential as it eliminates worrying about wheel compatibility.  The set includes 4 X CVA Shafts (12mm HEX specification) however the HEX & Pin are not included.  The shaft materials is identical to those used in modern racing buggies, ensuring high strength and durability.

EXO Design Top Force Conversion Kit

Kicking off its 2026 releases, buggy conversation specialist EXO Design introduces this kit for the Tamiya Top Force 1:10 4WD Buggy.  By optimising the kit for Shorty batteries, the chassis is significantly lighter, providing a more agile and responsive driving experience.  Compatible with both the Top Force and Top Force EVO, the competition version conversation kit made using premium materials and is optimised for performance and specifically designed for mainstream Shorty LiPo batteries.  The kit includes 9 precision-cut carbon fibre parts, plus aluminium stand-offs, washers, and screws.  Both front and rear shock towers are reinforced to 3.5mm thickness for maximum rigidity.  Fully compatible with modern 1:10 buggy shock systems (e.g. the EXO-005SGD 12mm Big Bore Shocks), multiple mounting positions allow for precise suspension fine-tuning.  A high-reliability design keeps your battery firmly on the chassis during intense racing and battery swaps are performed effortless by simply releasing one screw for a quick change.

EXO Design Optima Conversion Kit

In the latest release from buggy conversation specialist EXO Design comes this Kyosho Optima 1:10 4WD buggy conversion kit.  For all Optima series buggies, the kit includes 15 carbon fibre parts plus aluminium posts/washers/screws.  All parts are made with 100% carbon fibre plate. The conversation places the battery forward as much as possible to move the overall centre of gravity forward to improve handling performance with it adjustable according to the size of the battery being used.  The kit also includes a T7075 2.5 x 142 mm Turnbuckle for the steering.

EXO Design YC-870C Shock Mounting Point Extension Set

Buggy conversation specialist EXO Design has created this Shock Mounting Point Extension Set for when using big bore shocks on the Yokomo YC-870C/YZ-10.  As big bore shocks needs more room to clear out from the arms, using washers on a single mounting point will cause mounting screw to bend easily due to huge torque.  EXO Design’s shock mounting point extension set solves this issue by using double mounting points on the arm, and create a more solid and durable mounting position without compromising setting options.

EXO Design YZ870C conversion kit

New from EXO Design is this conversion kit for the Yokomo YZ-870C 1:10 4WD Buggy.   The kit which is available for pre-order, all pre-orders made getting a bonus free set of wing mounts and anti-slip battery tape, and is available in two versions: YZ870-O for Yokomo Original Shocks or YZ870-B for Big-Bore Shocks.   The kit includes 8 piece carbon fibre parts, aluminium stand offs/washers/screws.  The reinforced front and rear shock towers are made from 3.5mm carbon fibre and feature extra mounting positions for fine tunings.  Also included are two aluminium battery holder nut and a carbon battery plate,  two aluminium stands with a carbon fibre top plate, plastic wing mount and an aluminium hex servo saver.  Finally the kits includes 2.2 inch front and rear rims in pink – the colour and offset are the same as the re-release YZ870C.

EXO Design M-Chassis Adjustable offset rim set

New from EXO Design are these adjustable offset rim set for use on M-Chassis kits.  Suitable for Tamiya, Carten and ABC M-Chassis series, the adjustable offset rim set is a two-piece design. This allows for offset and the pattern of the rims to be changed freely to meet the body and chassis perfectly.  The rims can be painted to the desired colour with included masking kit.  Sold as a pair (2 wheels) screw are included for assembly of the rims.

EXO Design Ultima Front Shock towers & RC10 bumper

Retro conversion kit producer EXO Design has made some recent additions to its range with the release of new front shock towers for the Kyosho Ultima and a nylon front bumper for Team Associated’s RC10 Classic.  The reinforced front shock towers are made from 3.5mm carbon fibre and are available for both the original Ultima shocks as well as for those running big bore shocks on the buggy. They feature extra mounting positions for fine tunings of the suspension set-up. EXO Design are keen to highlight the bumper for the RC10 is not 3D print but made from nylon material.

EXO Design Tamiya Ball Diff Upgrade Kit

New from EXO Design is their Ball Diff upgrade for the Tamiya Top Force 1:10 4WD Buggy or any Tamiya model using the #53070 ball diff set (TL01/TA01/TA02/FF02/DF01/M01/M02/M03/M04/M05/M06).  With its updated structural design and materials, there is no need to worry about loss of driving power due to worn teeth on pressure plate B.  The SCM415 material gets heat treatment processing the same of modern buggy.  The updated design also means the gearbox joint will no longer fall out.   With the durability increased it can accept more powerful electronics saving you from repeat maintenance.
