RDRP B6 titanium shock mount set

Revolution Design Racing Products have introduced the titanium shock mount set for the Team Associated B6-series of buggies. A direct replacement for the standard multi-piece shock mounts, the parts are made from a single piece of high-quality Grade 5 titanium and do away with the standard multi-piece design that consists of screws and upper shock mount bushings. The 1-piece design of the shock mounts allows for easy suspension setting changes as they only require to undo the rear lock nut to alter the shock angle while the lightweight yet sturdy material saves weight compared to the stock parts – ideal for stock class weight saving fanatics and everyone who is looking for a lighter buggy. The full set includes a pair of front and rear shock mounts and it includes a set of high-quality locknuts. The front and rear shock mount sets are also available separately.

Samix SCX10 II aluminium driveshaft splines

Samix have introduced an aluminium driveshaft splines for the Axial SCX10 II off-road kit. Offering improved rigidity and durability over the kit items, the CNC-machined aluminium parts come anodised for wear and looks and they are available in green, black and gun metal colour.

Samix SCX10-2 aluminium driveshaft caps

New parts for the Axial SCX10-2 from Samix continue to released, with the announcement of new aluminium driveshaft caps. As with all the other parts, they are available in 3 different colours and feature the Samix branding etched into the anodised surface. Not just looking good, they also provide more rigidity and increase durability in this area.

Reedy LiPo battery weight set updated

After making some updates, the Reedy LiPo battery weight set is back in stock. These weights have been modified (now 22g and 36g) with the value laser etched onto each piece along with the world-famous Reedy Powered logo. These weights can be used together or separately under your low-profile shorty LiPo battery to add ballast and/or lower the vehicle’s CG for improved handling. Each set is precision cut from brass and contains one .5mm (22g) weight and one 1mm (36g) weight, which can be used together or separately.

Exotek B6 and B6D option parts

From Exotek for the Associated B6 and B6D come a number of optional items. First up is the 7075 heavy duty one-piece rear camber mount/bulkhead, its one-piece design meaning easier transmission removal because the camber links now stay in place and much more durability for reduced chances of tweaked camber or bent roll centre mounting. All machined alloy threads means secure mounting and no stripped nylon threads, it is polished and available in anodized factory blue or black. Next up are titanium quick change shock post sets for the front and rear of the buggy. Using Ti 6-4 titanium for durability and lightweight, each post weighing 2grams, its +1mm length for the shock tower thread enables it to accept after market thicker shock towers. Finally there are lightweight yet heavy duty titanium replacement bones for the B6 and B6D MIP Bi-Metal Bone Puck sets with ball diff. Half the weight of steel and twice the strength of aluminium equals a lightweight drive line with increased durability and reduced wear and tear. +1mm length for proper diff end fit without the need of the MIP spacers at the axle means the wheel hexes do not bind up when the wheels are tightened down.

Serpent SRX2 MH 2mm carbon chassis

New from Serpent for the Spyder SRX2 MH is this optional 2mm carbon fibre chassis. The carbon chassis can replace the hard coated aluminium chassis, as the alu kick-up is separate from the main chassis and the carbon chassis fits without any further modifications. The standard side guards also fit right on and it works with all 4 transmissions. The carbon chassis is lighter and has more flex, which may help handling on higher traction surfaces.

Samix SCX10-2 lower shock suspension link mounts

More new items from Samix for the Axial SCX10-2 with the release of these lower shock suspension link mounts. Made from high quality aluminium, they come in three different colour, sport the Samix logo etched into the product, and help improve the rigidity and durability over the stock part while also eliminating flex of the lower shock mount.
