T-Works roll out new X3 GTS optionals

T-Works have announced the release of new optional parts for the Hong Nor X3 GTS kit. First up is a titanium turnbuckle set made of high-quality 64 grade titanium. Included are six camber and steering link turnbuckles as well as a steering servo link and two wrenches that allow for easy building and adjustment. Using the titanium links over the standard parts will lower the overall wight while adding rigidity and visual impact. Also new is a precision ball bearing set that includes ball races with rubber and metal-shields for high durability while still ensuring low natural drivetrain drag. Last but not least comes a 158-piece 64 grade UFO head titanium screw kit and a 170-piece gold-colour steel screw set. The titanium fasteners allow to scrub some weight and add rigidity while the steel screw set mainly adds visual impact and corrosion resistance.

Axon Core high-performance ball bearings oils

Coming from Axon is their new line of high-quality Core ball bearing oils. The lubricants are available in three different viscosities, helping to get the most out of new or used ball bearings. First up is the medium viscosity oil, a full synthetic lube that offers best possible life span, pressure resistance and heat resistance, making it ideal especially for nitro racing cars. Next up is the low viscosity soft oil that also offers very good heat and wear resistance while allowing to achieve higher speeds due to its lower viscosity. High pressure resistance ensures smooth bearing operation even at high rotational speeds. Last but not last comes the ultra-low viscosity super soft oil that offers near water-like flowing capabilities, making it ideal for all ultra-high performance applications such as 1/12th and 1/10th formula racing. It needs to be used more frequently, however it helps to extract the best performance out of a bearing due to offering the lowest natural drag. All lubricants come in new leak-proof bottles for convenient storage and application.

Avid XB2C & XB2D 2020 bearing kits

Avid have announced the release of their new ball bearing kits for the Xray XB2C and XB2D 2020 2WD buggies. The range includes the Essential bearing kit, the XB2C and XB2C 2020 full bearing kits as well as the Aura Ceramic gearbox, Aura Ceramic hub and Aura Ceramic full bearing sets. The standard bearing kits are further customisable using Avid’s FlexKit software.

T-Works Hyspin ball bearings

T-Works have introduced their new Hyspin ball bearing line. Currently available as 5x13x4mm ball races, the bearings feature both rubber and metal shields for very little natural friction, reduced overall drag and exceptional durability and they come as 10-piece or 2-piece packs.

Avid clutch bearing line

Coming from Avid is their new line of clutch bearings. Clutch temperatures easily reach temperatures three times more than that of a wheel bearing and so they are specifically designed for use in clutches to withstand the high heat and loads. Balls are 20 percent larger than Avid’s standard bearing line and when combined with the deeper grooves in the races, racers get a ton more surface area to distribute the load. Grooves are made from 52100 and polished to a higher level of smoothness to keep friction down when at higher loads. Cages are made from nylon instead of steel so that during high heat expansion situations there is no chance of metal to metal rubbing which results in less drag, and better strength. The bragging are available as 5x10x4mm, 5x11x4mm and 5x13x4mm metal-shielded variants.

MonacoRC JP ball bearings

MonacoRC have introduced their new JP ball bearings, Japan-made pre-oiled high-performance ball races. The ZZ-type bearings ensure a low natural drivetrain drag for increased efficiency, improved acceleration and longer run times. Pilot Orbit 1/10th buggy ceramic bearing sets

Coming from Pilot RC Products for many of today’s competition 1/10th buggy kits are Orbit ceramic ball bearings sets. The ball races are precision crafted and produced from highest grade materials governing them the ABEC rating grade 7. They are of a stainless steel rings and Si3N4 ceramic balls design and they come pre-oiled with 1up clear bearing oil for ultra free spinning and increased drivetrain efficiency.
