JConcepts continue to release their range of Punisher bodies, the latest for the Mugen MBX6-T, with its mean look it separates itself from the rest of the bodies on the market with it’s distinctive styling. Following on Pro-Line’s previous releases of the Bull Dog truggy shell for the Associated RC8T and the Hot Bodies D8T, comes a version for the Mugen MBX-6T. Made from Genuine GE .060 lexan, its bull nose front end increases corner speed, while the elongated bed increases air flow to the wing. Overall down force has been greatly improved over traditional 1:8 truck bodies with the engine head exposed for easy temp checks and igniter accessibility. Paint then peel overspray film, sticker sheet, and window masks included.

Protoform have announced the immediate release of the all new R5-N 200mm gas sedan race body. Gas sedan bodies require numerous openings to be cut in the roof area to enable cooling and fuel filling and thus the bodies tend to become aerodynamically ‘dirty’ and inefficient. Protoform has designed a body to minimize the net drag losses caused by these openings. The unique side windows as well as the rear window contours enhance the efficiency of the linear airflow into and out of the body. Every feature, including the large rear wing, is within EFRA/ROAR/200mm Global Body Spec dimensions. The enlarged wing struts allow for the use of larger screws for quicker trackside adjustments and the center strut adds stability. Made to fit all the popular 200mm gas chassis this body is pulled in .030 lexan and is supplied with protective covering, decal sheet, window masks and wing hardware.

East Coast Bodies have released their new ‘Alpha design series’ 1/8 Off Road body shells, starting with this version for the World Champion Hot Bodies D8 buggy. The new ‘Alpha’ design D8 shell features improvements to the top end of the body with a low curve which give you a much smoother handling together with a newly implemented ‘Vortex Generator’ that provides a great look and actually improves downforce at high speed and on jumps.

Team Titan have released the all new Blitz ISF EP racing bodyshell. Designed for rubber tire 190mm electric touring car racing it has been extensively testing and showed to give great handling and consistent lap times on both asphalt and carpet tracks. Sporting 2 height line in 115mm for IFMAR rules and 120mm For BRCA rules the attached wing also has 2 cut lines for adjusting the rear down force. Available in 2 different thicknesses, 0.8mm and 0.7mm, it is supplied clear with light decals and window mask.

RB have introduced some new accessories for use with 1/8th scale on road body shells. This first is this new wing set, which is supplied with two different types which are pre cut and come with the necessary nylon mounting screws and nuts. Also for the body is a set of body stiffeners, that are made from high quality lexan and they two are delivered in two different versions and come supplied with body rivets.
