Protoform have released a spy shot of their new LTC-R 190mm Touring Car bodyshell which has been developed specifically for rubber tire racing. The shell features sharp angles at the front and a very deep intake type design each side just behind the wide front wheel arches. The new shell is due for release next month.

Pro-Line have released 2 new short course truck bodies with the announcement of the Hardcore and Desert Rat bodies for the Traxxas Slayer. The Hardcore Slayer body captures every essence of Championship Off-Road Racing with exceptional details down to the realistic bed shrouding, radiator, tubular chassis and shock details and delivers ultra hardcore fun with aggressive off-road styling, an integrated molded rear wing for added downforce and pronounced fenders. The Desert Rat reaps in that bold, off-road desert look. It’s extremely pronounced fenders give it an attack-like stance, low profile styling make for fast straight-line speed, and it’s equipped with simulated side mirrors just like the full-scale Trophy trucks. New from the Moore-speed brand is the their first 200mm Nitro touring car body shell. With an ultra-high downforce front splitter you will get awesome front traction, while the windscreen and roof channels air directly over the high downforce rear wing. The wing features three vertical supports to eliminate flex and lost downforce, and the rear end features aerodynamic wing struts extending to the bumper. The front bumper features a dual-level splitter, plus extra aero lines around the headlights for extreme front traction. Along the sides, this 200R is nearly flat for minimal drag, except for a slight door sill recess exactly where the pipe stinger needs to exit the bodyshell. The cabin features the modern forward look with reduced bonnet line and increased boot lid space. Deep structural A-pillars and C-pillars channel air over the boot lid and rear wing and also reduce the frontal area, giving you increased stability and top speed.
