RBOne R details revealed

After having released one or the other video teaser RB now dropped the curtain and revealed the features and specifications of their new RBOne R competition nitro off-road buggy. Roughly based on the design ideas of the RBOne RTR cars the R version sports 80 percent new parts that include a 7075-T6 aluminium chassis plate with optimized flex, front and rear carbon fibre shock towers, a ‘straight’ drive train with rubber-sealed bearings and rubber protection boots, conical-cut transmission gears and a highly adjustable suspension with aluminium suspension mounts and plastic inserts. RB’s goal was to build an easy to drive and to maintain buggy that also comes with a lot of option parts such as carbon and aluminium clutch shoes, 0.9, 1.0, 1.1mm clutch springs, center CVD and shocks rubber boots, mud flaps, chrome and fluorescent premium stickers, shock and differential silicone oil, as well as silicone tubing with clips. The kit will hit the stores world wide very soon.

T.O.P. Sabre FD2 kit

T.O.P. Racing introduce the Sabre FD2 front wheel drive 1/10th electric touring car kit. The next generation FWD features an improved transmission, new gear ratio, updated steering mechanism, a different weight distribution and changed chassis flex characteristics. The whole package makes for a faster, more user-friendly car and the kit is available very soon.

Serpent 977 Viper announced

Serpent have released the first, brief, details of their new 1/8th scale on road car, called the 977 Viper. We have been supplied with no other details but we have heard that it will be a completely new platform. The car is currently in production and is expected to be released in February of next year. More details as we get them.

On Point OP12C.1 conversion kit

On Point Racing is proud to release their second generation 12th scale conversion, the OP12C.1. Already it has won the Super Stock class at the US Indoor Champs last month driven by designer/owner Paul Ciccarello. The changes made in chassis flex and shock position have made the car generate higher corner speeds without giving up driveability. The kit is available now.

Hobbytech STR8 GT race roller

Hobbytech have released their STR8 GT car. This 1/8th scale 4wd Pro GT8 class kit is brushless powered and is 3, 4 & 6S LiPo compatible. Featuring a narrow 3mm lightweight chassis plate design with optimal weight distribution and ultra low center of gravity. The car comes supplied with hard coated Pro CNC machined spiral cut helicoidal gears for front and rear and a clear polycarbonate GT body shell.

CRC Xti ‘Altered Ego’ chassis kit

CRC have released an update to their race winning Xti 1/12th scale chassis. For some the car may be a bit too nimble, hence the release of the ‘Altered Ego’ chassis. The Altered Ego has some geometry alterations to mellow the car, making it a bit more stable and providing a more locked feeling to the rear end. Three different pieces make up an Altered Ego, the chassis, the rear lower plate and the rear upper plate. With the Altered Ego parts, the car can be run inline or transverse, however, the geometry alterations do make for a tight fit between the 1S pack and the reversed servo in the inline configuration. In the transverse position, the car has a ton of room to mount electronics and lots of options to move the battery forward and back.

Schumacher CAT K1 1/10th 4wd buggy

Schumacher have unleashed their latest CAT with the introduction of the K1, an ultra modern 1/10th scale 4wd electric powered buggy. Schumacher’s R&D department and highly skilled international racing team have developed a simple, yet highly efficient twin belt transmission, with optimised motor position and belt length that offers equalised front and rear drive.
