Hot Bodies D812 1/8th buggy

Hot Bodies introduce the D812 1/8th nitro competition buggy. This buggy embodies the latest refinements and improvements that have come directly from the HB racing team for the 2012-2013 racing season. Starting with the basis of the World Champion D8 buggy, and improving even on the Vice World Champion Hara Edition, the D812 improves the D8 in every way. Monocoque suspension arms allow to tune the suspension setup for extra flex, more stiffness or even added weights for a completely new feel to your driving. For faster acceleration and quicker in-air pitch control, the drivetrain gears are lighter. New CVD boots retain grease and keep out dirt that can sandblast your drive axles. Aluminium drive axles, caster blocks and rear hubs improve on the durability of the D8. A one-piece radio tray makes maintenance easy and quick, and the one-piece engine mount helps even more by allowing you to remove and re-insert the engine without having to re-set the gear mesh time after time.

Yokomo R12C pan car kit

Yokomo is proud to announce the release of the R12C, an exact copy of the car Naoto Matsukura took to World Championship honors in 2012. The kit contains a weight balance optimized chassis, a new centre point steering assembly to improve the Ackermann geometry, a highly adjustable rear width to help adapt the car to different grip levels and the kit also comes with a newly designed left side rear wheel hub.

TRG 112 1/10th scale F1 chassis

Japanese company TRG have released the 112, their latest 1/10th scale F1 chassis. Available in a wide 200mm version and a regular 180mm version, the main difference between the two is the front suspension parts. The car features a 3mm carbon chassis that is designed to best accept the shorty LiPo, but can also accept full size packs, and is mounted inline with space around the pack for receiver and ESC. The chassis is very narrow at only 79mm and so doesn’t scrub during cornering and because of this design it can accept almost all current and past bodies. Other neat features include dual rear roll dampers, adjustable front suspension links, a single piece top deck, adjustable steering upright and a pretty awesome adjustable servo mount.

Schumacher have send us a teaser for their soon to be announced CAT K1. Described as an ultra-modern, 1/10th scale, 4WD, Electric Powered buggy which continues the race winning tradition of Schumacher’s legendary CAT ‘Competition All Terrain’ vehicles, we can expect further details soon.

Xray XB4 soon to be released

Xray’s entry into the competitive 1/10th EP buggy market, the XB4, is close to release. The full announcement is scheduled for this weekend when Xray finally unveil their all new 4wd buggy. Full details here later in the week.

HB R10 1/10th 200mm racing kit

The car that TQ’d the recent World Championships, the HB R10 is the latest kit from the minds at HB-HPI to enter the exciting and fast world of 1/10th scale on-road touring car racing. Top-level nitro touring cars are a completely different type of racing class compared to electric touring cars, you can’t just add an engine to any touring car design and be off to the races. Mugen MBX7 1/8 Nitro Offroad buggy

Mugen Seiki have announced the release of the MBX7 1/8 Nitro Offroad buggy. The Mugen design team had a goal to increase corner speed, increase traction, low the center of gravity and to lighten up the whole drive train and the end result is the MBX7. Mugen concentrated on creating a buggy that would carry natural corner speed with newly designed front upper/lower suspension, The rear suspension was designed to create more traction and smooth action through bumps, jumps and whatever else the buggy attacks with shorter rear suspension arms, fully adjustable anti-squat and toe in bushings. New front shocks and shock springs control the suspension on the front of the buggy while newly designed shock angles keep the rear suspension hooked up to the surface.

Capricorn LAB C02 WC edition

Capricorn have announced an upgrade kit for its 1/10th 200mm chassis called the LAB C02 WC edition. This version includes all the parts used by Capricorn drivers at the recent World Championships in Bangkok. The kit includes new harder more durable plastics, front anti-roll bar F1, middle shaft mount with exhaust support built-in, lightweight hard coated 2-speed shaft, brass weights to be positioned under the tank in order to bring the model to the new minimum weight of 1650g without any additional weights and finally new super soft belts.
