Kyosho’s all new Touring car

Kyosho's all new Touring car

Seen for the first time in International competition, this pre-production version of the all new Kyosho Touring car is being raced at this year’s DHI Cup by European Championship finalist Christopher Krapp, who tells us that the new car is much better balanced for use with LiPos. Developed by Shin Adachi, it features bigger bore shocks, which are also longer, new shock towers front and rear, new rear hubs, new stabilizer points front and rear and a higher top deck for accommodating LiPo packs, such as the latest Team Orion version installed in his car. The motor mount is also new and brings the motor 1mm closer to the centre line for better weight distribution.

Kyosho Ultima Desert buggy Readyset

Kyosho Ultima Desert buggy Readyset

New from Kyosho is this 1/9th scale electric powered Ultima DB 2WD racing desert buggy ready set. Influenced from the actual buggies raced in the Baja area, this new buggy goes back to the old days of pipe framed buggies. The chassis is based on the Ultima SC meaning that the performance is guaranteed, with the chassis stretched from the original RB5 buggy and large enough to be considered a 1/9th scale. This ready to run Ready Set is not just a backyard basher but a fully race ready chassis with many of the high performance traits from the Ultima RT5.

Durango DNX408 – First production parts

Durango DNX408 - First production parts

Eager to obtain the services of Austrian driver Hupo Honigl, Durango have released the first images of the production parts from their new 1/8th scale buggy, the DNX408. We have yet to see the final design of the car but judging by the photos of the first parts to come of the (pre)production line that are destined for this new car, it would be safe to assume that this will be a high quality buggy just like its little brother the DEX410.

UPDATED with CAD images of the car (as always click for larger image)
