Hot Bodies Cyclone D4 Worlds Edition

Hot Bodies have announced details on the new Worlds Edition of the Hot Bodies Cyclone D4 buggy. Featuring a number of new optionals now as standard, there are new aluminium front steering blocks and rear uprights now included as standard and for added strength there are new stronger ball joints also included. The Worlds Edition also includes a new lower rear wing mount, smoother front and rear shock absorbers, new rear lower wishbones and rear anti roll bar. A middle one way way set is also available for the buggy.

Team Magic M1B Turbo US Edition

Following on from the release of the updated Turbo version of the M1B buggy from Team Magic, the Taiwanese company have announced the release of a US edition of the car to help it break into the Amercian market. New features include updated front and rear gearbox, steering block carrier, fuel tank, new bevel gears, strenghtened whishbones and the inclusion of lots of K-Factory parts as standard.

Team Magic E4FS Foam Spec

Team Magic E4FS Foam Spec

Team Magic have released the foam spec of their E4 electric touring car, called the E4FS. As is expected from a foam spec car, it has been stiffened up with a new 3mm carbon fibre, 96mm wide narrow chassis, while a 2.5mm upper deck with aluminium stiffening posts ensure an extremely rigid chassis. The car is also supplied with front and rear hard coated drive shafts, 3mm thick front and rear shock towers as well as new shock absorbers, new turnbuckles, thicker wishbones and wider belts. This car can also accept most LiPo cells as well as all brushless systems.

Following on from the recent release of the 720-08, Serpent have now announced the release of the car that was top qualifier at this years 1/8th scale World Championships and EFRA European Championships, the 960-08. Having finished a close 2nd at the Worlds, as well as having won the ultra competitive Japanese Nationals, the 2008 version has already proven its pace and is now ready to be released. Updates to the 08 car includes a newly designed rear end geometry that provides more rear end grip and which makes the car better under both braking and exiting of a corner.

GS Racing CL-1 Advanced Update

GS Racing have provided an update to their new CL-1 Advanced 1/8th scale buggy, that we first mentioned at the start of December. The Taiwanese company has provided a lot more information on the car which features a brand new transmission system that has been lightened by 15 grams to gain greater transmission efficiency. As spotted the first time around, the car also sports new big bore 16mm shock absorbers, and finally a new steering system provides more solid steering. The car will get its official unveiling at next years Nuremberg toy fair.

Team Corally have announced more details on their ‘New Generation F1’ that we showed you back in October. This car’s design is based on the World Championship winning 12X concept, resulting in an easy to work on high performance driving machine as well great part availability since most parts on this new F1 are interchangeable with the 12X. The New Generation F1 uses the World’s best materials and production methods which includes super tough and strong 3.2mm GRP chassis parts, 7075 T6 aluminium motorpod and graphite rear axle. This combines super low weight with high rigidity and durable on-track performance. It comes complete with mounted tires, F-type body and moulded front & rear wing.
