MTS T3M 2020 mid-motor touring car

Coming soon is the MTS T3M 2020 mid-motor electric touring car kit. The car builds on a class-standard carbon fibre double deck chassis construction, however its symmetrical design allows swap the batter and servo, motor and speed controller around which allows more control over the weight bias when conditions are calling for kit. The centre bulkhead and motor mount is made up from two identical brackets that make for a sturdy mid section, shifting twisting points further out for more control over the overall chassis flex. The suspension utilises MTS’ proven carbon fibre plate design with aluminium pivot balls while blade-type front and rear anti-roll bars reduce chassis roll during cornering. The car is also equipped with new ultra short shock absorbers whose inner conical shape makes for a progressive shock action and thus improved car control on very high-bite surfaces while the steering utilises a unique direct drive single bellcrank setup which avoids unwanted influence on chassis tweak during cornering. Other features include widely adjustable chassis flex, a fully adjustable battery mount, a 30mm/40mm fan mount bracket and titanium-nitride-coated 10.9 steel screws. Kyosho Mercedes AMG GT3 2020 FW-06 ReadySet

Coming soon from Kyosho is they nitro-powered FW-06 Mercedes AMG GT3 2020 ReadySet. The car is based on the company’s proven and beginner-friendly FW-06 shaft-driven 4WD chassis that features a 2-speed transmission, competition-proven suspension components including the World Championship wining V-One RRR rear end as well as a full ball-raced drivetrain, fluid-filled shock absorbers and reliable disc brakes. The car is powered by a 2.5cc KE15-SP recoil starter nitro engine and it comes includes a 2.4GHz radio system and pre-painted AMG GT3 body shell.

Coming soon from Kyosho is their new 1/27th scale Mini-Z RWD Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 ReadySet. With just eight AAA-size batteries, the Mini-Z Racer allows anyone to enjoy the beautiful style and advanced performance of RC cars. Tamiya GF-01CB Comical Avante kit

Set for a release in June is Tamiya’s Comical Avante kit. The car utilises the popular GF-01CB stunt chassis that features four-wheel independent suspension components, a 4WD drivetrain with gear differentials, fluid-filled shock absorbers as well as a quick-release battery mount. The kit is decked off with the pre-painted comical version of the ultra-popular Avante vintage buggy and it comes with new block tread tyres on black and yellow rims.

Kyosho 1/12th scale Trail King ReadySet

Kyosho’s long selling Blizzard kit, that has stood the test of time with a legion of loyal fans, has been used as a base for the new Trail King. Kyosho reveal full Fantom EP-4WD details

Following a series of high-quality images Kyosho have fully unveiled their forthcoming Fantom EP-4WD 1/12th scale electric on-road re-release kit. The original car made its debut early in 1983 and it pretty much blew the competition at the 5th JMRCA 1/12 Electric Racing Car Japan Nationals, held at a purpose-built track in Nakayama. The 1/12th scale class was a melting pot of different designs back in the day and the Fantom spearheaded them all with its balanced FRP chassis layout and chain-driven 4WD drivetrain with front one-way bearing. Fast forward to today, the 2020 model not only recreates the look and feel of the original, but also maintains the superior cornering speed and stability, even on low grip surfaces, with its part-time 4WD and front one way. As with all Kyosho Vintage Series models, each key component is consistent with the original design but has been improved to handle the latest power sources and deliver the Fantom’s distinctive sharp handling and control on modern RC tracks.

Tamiya SW-01 Mud Mad 1/24th scale stunt truck

Tamiya have announced the soon release of their new Mad Mud 1/24th scale 4WD stunt truck. Using the same SW-01 chassis as the Comical Wheelie Lunch Box, the truck is a fun little vehicle ideal to kill some time inside or in the backyard. It features a gear-driven drivetrain, standard 1/10th scale wheels and it is only 190mm wide and 160mm wide. Powered by a 370-size motor the truck can pull wheelies with not problem while the specially designed suspension, that manipulates body roll, ensures a tight cornering radius. The Mud Mad is decked off by a cool looking truck body shell with black wheels and knobby tyres adding to the overall looks.
