Serpent X20FF FWD touring car – Coming soon

Serpent have announced the soon release of their all-new X20FF front-wheel drive touring car. The kit will be based off of the X20 4WD car, sharing many of its design features. Full details of the car, that utilises the now-popular front-mid motor layout for an overall lower centre of gravity, will become available in time of the release.

ARC R12 mid-motor touring car – Coming soon

ARC have released a first drivetrain teaser image of their forthcoming new R12 mid-motor 1/10th scale 4WD touring car. The R12 will feature a completely new design of the belt pulleys, differential and bulkheads, with the motor mount being an all-new single-piece construction to reinforce the centre part of the chassis and help reduce belt skipping. The redesigned bulkheads will relocate the anti-roll bar to a lower position with all of these features helping to lower the overall centre of gravity of the car. Full details will become available in time of the release.

SWorkz S12-2 2WD buggy kit – Coming soon

SWorkz have released a set of images showing their forthcoming new S12-2 1/10th scale 2WD buggy kit. The latest addition to the S12 line will feature a lot of improvements and updates compared to the previous S12-1, such as a redesigned front bulkhead that places the front shock tower behind the dampers, a new chassis, new battery mount, a new transmission – possibly including a diff height adjustment feature, a new carbon fibre rear shock tower and many more. Full details on features and specifications will become available in time of the release that is set for end of March.

Schumacher Cougar Laydown Stock Spec 2WD buggy

Schumacher have introduced their new Cougar Laydown Stock Spec 2WD buggy kit. The Stock Spec is an evolution of the EOS winning Cougar Laydown and huge attention to detail has been paid to reducing the car’s overall weight for the increasingly popular Stock 2WD buggy class, as shown with Schumacher engineer Tristram Neal’s recent TQ and win at EOS round 1 in Daun. The Stock Spec kit includes a carbon fibre chassis, carbon fibre motor plate, alloy layshaft and spur lockout, carbon fibre lower transmission housings and an Aerox 0.5mm ultra light body. The Stock Spec still retains its versatility with exceptional performance on a wide range of grip levels, from carpet, astro and dirt.

PR Racing V3T R Pro 2WD stadium truck kit

PR Racing have announced the release of their 2020 V3T R Pro 2WD stadium truck kit. The vehicle features an updated steering geometry making it even easier to drive, while the redesigned rear suspension geometry creates increased rear end grip and the new super smooth ultra low profile Type R shocks soak up the roughest terrain. The all-new -2mm lower motor mount makes for a lower centre of gravity and pill style suspension blocks allow for fast toe and anti-squat changes. Up front, the truck now features an all-new front swaybar system. Durability and adjustability is achieved with a complete set of front and rear aluminium camber link mounts. The above mounts on a new -3mm chassis for optimised performance. The truck is topped off with a cab forward truggy body shell for looks and optimised aerodynamics.

Hobbytech Spirit NXTE RR20 1/8th E-buggy

Hobbytech have introduced their new Spirit NXTE RR20 1/8th scale electric buggy competition kit. The vehicle builds on a 4mm 7075-T6 aluminium chassis and it features a front pivot ball suspension with reinforced suspension balls, large big bore shock absorbers with threaded aluminium shock bodies, aluminium upper caps and spring retainers, as well as carbon fibre shock towers with protective aluminium covers. The drivetrain utilises hardened steel components for durability, front and rear universal driveshafts for an efficient power supply and a 2-piece motor mount for sturdy and reliable motor mounting. Other features include aluminium steering components, a carbon fibre ESC mounting plate and a large battery tray that accepts either a single 4S or dual 2S LiPo packs. The kit is rounded out by a clear polycarbonate cab forward body shell.
