HPI Racing Savage XS Flux Chevy El Camino SS

HPI Racing have announced the soon release of the Savage XS Flux Chevy El Camino SS mini monster truck. The truck is based on the 360mm long Savage XS Flux mini monster truck that comes factory assembled with a 4000kV brushless motor, capable of speeds of up to 65km/h. Element-proof electronics make for go-everywhere capabilities with large volume oil-filled shock absorbers, long-travel suspension arms and a sturdy metal drivetrain ensuring performance whatever the track conditions. The truck is decked out with a Chevrolet El Camino SS body and it rolls on grippy 1/10th scale compatible all-terrain tyres. A 2.4GHz radio system rounds off the package.

3Racing Sakura M4 4WD M-class touring car kit

3Racing have released first images and information of their forthcoming new Sakura M4 4WD M-class touring car kit. Based on the popular Sakura 4WD chassis series the M4 was specially designed for the ever popular M-chassis class, offering an adjustable 210mm to 225mm wheelbase, durable lower arms, Sakura Advance 2k18 steering components, front and rear anti-roll bars as well as fibre glass chassis components. Other features include sturdy front and rear shock towers, a front spool, and an adjustable battery compartment for standard or shorty-type battery packs. The kit will hit stores very soon.

HPI Racing Venture SBK Scale Builder Kit

Coming soon from HPI Racing is the Venture SBK Scale Builder Kit. This brand new interpretation of the Venture allows to build and completely customise the look and performance of the Venture 1/10th 4WD trail truck from the very start and also includes a host of sought-after upgrades that helps the truck perform even better on the trail than before. Included in the kit are front universal driveshafts, that are tougher, rebuildable and they add extra steering angle. Also included are aluminium lower links – thick 6mm anodised links for great looks and increased performance. Other features include a 4-link rear setup for increased articulation at the rear, improving grip for better side climbing. The kit is rounded out by axle weights that extra weight directly to the axles, for increased traction exactly where it’s needed.

Xray XB8E 2019 1/8th E-Buggy kit

Xray have introduced their new XB8E 2019 1/8th scale electric buggy kit. Making use of most of the features the XB8’19 nitro buggy has to offer, the ’19 specification kit includes a 2-in-1 front suspension concept with the buggy coming both with a C-hub and a pivot ball design suspension, allowing to adapt the vehicle to a variety of driving styles and track conditions. The C-hub design was developed for the use on tight and smooth tracks whereas the pivot ball suspension can be an advantage in open and rough conditions. Part of the suspension package are also redesigned A-arms that are made for a harder material for improved response and stability while also ensuring smoother operation in dusty track conditions. Also new for the 2019 variant is a redesigned chassis that accepts both soft and hard compound radio trays without modification, helping to adjust chassis flex for different ambient temperatures. All-new rear uprights with larger outside ball-bearings make for increased reliability and life-span while featuring an extra hole for wider roll-centre adjustment possibilities. Other features include new cell shock membranes with reduced air gap for improved grip, matching upper shock caps with four venting holes as well as longer front and rear shock shafts as well as softer front and rear anti-roll bars for increased traction.

ECX Axe 2WD RTR monster truck

Horizon Hobby have introduced the new ECX Axe 1/10 2WD monster truck. Featuring a licensed Avenger monster truck body, wheels and tyres, this merciless savage doesn’t back down from careening over rough terrain and is just as intimidating on the neighbourhood blacktop. The truck features sturdy suspension components, adjustable oil-filled shock absorbers, as well as aggressive Chevron monster truck wheels and it comes factory-equipped with a Spektrum STX2 2-channel 2.4GHz FHSS radio system, a Dynamite 12T brushed motor, and a WP 60A Fwd/Rev brushed ESC.

Buri Racer release new E2.1 & E1.3 teaser images

Buri Racer have released new teaser images of their forthcoming E2.1 and E1.3 1/8th electric pan car kits. The E2.1 is an all-new design with a central drive belt and off-set motor mount that will ensure more equal chassis flex upon acceleration and braking while updated front suspension components also for easier camber angle changes, utilising the pivot ball design found on suspension’d 1/8th on-road kits. In the rear, a new ride height adjustment ensures for an easier and wider range of ground clearance settings compared to the E1.2.

Hobbytech Spirit NXT EP 6S 2.0 RTR buggy

Hobbytech have introduced their new Spirit NXT EP 6S 2.0 1/8th scale ready-to-run E-Buggy. Designed for high speed bashing the buggy utilises ultra tough suspension components including a pivot ball front suspension design, it is equipped with sturdy shock towers, big bore aluminium shocks and powered by a waterproof 6S LiPo-compatible 150A speed controller and a 2000kV brushless motor. Other features include grippy tyres, a colourful bodyshell and a 2.4GHz radio system.

Team Corally SBX-410 1/10th 4WD buggy – Coming soon

Team Corally have revealed first images of their forthcoming SBX-10 1/10th scale 4WD competition buggy kit. No official details in regards of features or specifications are available yet but looking at the CAD renderings the buggy will be decked out with big bore shock absorbers, carbon fibre shock towers, adjustable front and rear swaybars, and alloy suspension inserts with hinge pin inserts. The kit seems to utilise a shaft drivetrain for high efficiency. Full details will become available in time for the release that is scheduled for the end week of February. Update: In the meantime Corally have released additional body-off images, showing the buggy is indeed equipped with a class-standard shaft-design drivetrain, utilising a rear motor/rear battery layout in the images. We bring you more details as they surface.
