Etang Power, makers of the E-Power cells have been in contact, to inform us about the release of 2 new cells. The new E-Power 4500 Sub C cell has an average voltage of 1.235V, before zapping, at 30A discharging rate and an IR of 1.6-1.8, also before zapping. The company are also claiming 540 seconds runtime at 30A discharge rate. Also new from the same company are some E-Power 1600 2/3A cell and an average voltage of 1.05-1.06V.

Corally have released some new electric products including a number of new battery packs. Amongst the new releases is this this new 7.4V IP4800 LiPo Saddle Pack, while for more conventional battery layouts there are some new 4200 VRS cells, in 3 different specifications, and in packs of 4, 5 and 6 cells. Using the same cells, Corally have also released 2 new 7.2V 6-cell ready made stick packs containing 3600 or 4200 cells. Trinity Products have announced details on the new Intellect IB4600 SHV cells. Featuring an all new internal construction, designed with safer application in mind, they feature an increased voltage of 1.24V and above. A much more stable cell, they are said to offer 50% more cycle life than previous versions, yet have the same specifications and dimensions of a normal cell. Available in limited quantities from May 16th.
