Coming from Ultimate Racing are two new LiFe receiver battery packs. Available in flat or hump pack configuration the batteries are built from 2500mAh high-capacity cells and they offer a voltage of 6.6V which allows to use them with standard voltage receivers and servos. Both packs come pre-wired with universal-style receiver plugs and industry-standard balancer connectors.

Muchmore have announced the release of their new 1800mAh 6.6V LiFe receiver battery pack. The hump-style pack is usable with all vehicles that require brick-type batteries with the Muchmore pack measuring 56x30x32mm and weighing in at 88.5g. The battery is usable with all standard voltage receivers and servos and it comes pre-wired with a universal receiver plug an JST-XH balancer connector.

Yokomo have introduced the new Max Power 4600mAh Shorty LiPo battery pack. Made from high-quality cells and developed with both drift and 1/10th buggy racers in mind, the 2S battery measures 96x47x24.8mm and it weighs in at about 210g. With a lower price tag than Yokomo’s Racing Performer series the battery targets intermediate level and weekly club racers and it adds to the already introduced 3500mAh type.

Coming from Centro is their new 3.7V 8000mAh LiPo battery pack for all 1S on-road applications. The competition-grade battery is meant to offer very high voltage levels, resulting in more power and less fade on track – fast lap times all the way down to the final lap are the result. The battery features 5mm connectors to ensure maximum current carrying capability, while wraparound battery labels provide cool looks and reduced risk of damage from battery tape. The pack has received BRCA approval so will be legal for national level use from September 1st 2018 winter racing season.

Schumacher have introduced the new Core RC LiPo voltage checker. Designed to check the voltage of battery packs quickly and easily to see what state of charge they are in. The checker has a DC Voltage range of 2.5V up to 30V so it is good for 1S to 4S racing packs and higher and it features a red digital display and neat looking black wires. The device is reverse connection protected and in case of cross connection it wont be damaged and it comes pre-wired with 4mm/5mm bullet stepped plugs for most common racing battery types.
Coming from Sunpadow are their new Graphene LiPo battery packs. The competition-grade packs are available in different specifications such as a 8400mAh 7.4V standard size pack that weighs in at 324g. Also new is the 8200mAh 3.7V 1S pack for modified 1/12th scale racing. The 18.5mm height pack weighs in at 162g. Also a 1S pack is the slightly lighter 6300mAh 18.5mm battery with a weight of 152g. Last but not last is the lightweight 3800mAh 2S 7.4V shorty with a height of 18.5mm an a weight of 160g. The low centre of gravity battery is ideal for 1/10th scale off-road buggies that are run on carpet or high-grip astro turf. All packs come in protective yet decorative boxes for easy and secure storage and transportation.

New from Team Orion are two 4S LiPo battery packs for 1/8th competition applications. Modify from Japan have introduced their new LiPo Guard protective bags for standard-sized 2S LiPo battery packs. The tailor-made bags are fabricated from fire-repelling heavy-duty tarpaulin fabric and are ideal to protect Lithium-based batteries during storage and transportation while also reducing harm in case a battery goes boom due to mistreatment. The bags are available in black and silver colour and they sport a printed Modify logo.
